Volleh needs help. O.O;
I cannot choose a new email name. My old one i've had since I was six and it's a bit old now that I'm going on fifteen. Sos I need a new one. Things I need to decide: A name and which type of mail (aol, hotmail, yahoo, etc. my old one is yahoo).
I have some name idears. Check the poll dearies.

I recomend hotmail.
I've tried yahoo, gmail,
aol and hotmail, and I
have to say that hotmail
is by far the best.

Me too. I say first to 4 votes will most likely be it. :3 I tried aol and hate it, have used yahoo forever...hotmail isn't too confusing is it? the only thing i don't like about it is how it works with certain important emails. It puts some stuff that's important in the bulk section.

I vote for Hotmail. I also have a gmail account, but I use hotmail far more. I like how hotmail will let you sort your e-mails into folders (I couldn't figure out how to do with Gmail). Also, the longer you have hotmail, the better it gets at deciding what is junk and what's not. If there's a certain address you don't want in the junk folder, all you have to do is select it and click Not Junk. After that, the e-mail will go into your actual inbox.

I think Hotmail is best.
I use Opusnet, though... but that's an actual mail server you pay for. xD

If you do get an email address, best to have something a little professional. I know it is difficult to switch over to a new email. DX I've always worked with GMail, since their very early beta. Hotmail is nice, but it has a 10K limited on attachments, Gmail doesn't and it holds over a Gig of space.

I definitely agree! I used to have ICQ, and when I had it, I thought, "Well, a messenger is a messenger, right? They're all the same." Not so! A girl I met here on Gaia convinced me to switch, and I'm so glad she did. MSN is a million times better. I don't know a lot about ICQ by now, but when I used it, I had a horrible time trying to get file transfers to work. Out of ten files I tried to make transfer, maybe one would work if we were lucky. Plus, you can do a lot more with MSN, it's safer, and more people have it. Yes, it has its problems, but all of the pros more than make up for the cons.
To be perfectly honest, I thought ICQ was obsolete by now. :-/ I didn't think anyone still used it. Hell, I didn't think it still existed.
