It was the next day that Clarence Holland called up the number that Johnny had given him.
"Hello, may I speak to Trinity please?" he asked politely, and waited patiently for her to come to the phone.
"Hello there, Trinity. How are you today? John's told me about what has happened yesterday. He said you were in need of some training? When do you have time to drop by?" he asked.

A male's voice answered the phone. "Hello...? Oh Trin, sure thing." He covered up the receiver. "Yo Trin! Phone!"
The girl rushed over and took it. "Hello, Oh yes Clarence, right? I uh have time now actually.. if that's alright." She smiled to herself. She was happy that things were falling into place.

"Of course it is!" Clarence told her, clearly sounding very pleased. "I'm glad you are taking this so serious."
He gave her directions of how she could get to his place, which turned out to be only a thirty minute walk and only a ten minute bus-ride and asked her if it was alright for John to be there. He had requested it specifically and Clarence had promised he'd call him either way.

When Trinity arrived at Clarence's house and rang the doorbell a pretty woman with brown curls framing her face and deep brown, warm eyes opened the door. Her eyes instantly lit up when she saw Trinity. She appeared to be a very bouncy and cheerful personality. "Hi there! You must be Trinity! I'm Deb. Welcome, welcome! Come!" She ushered Trinity inside, into the kitchen, which was warm and smelled of pie. Evidently, Deb had been cooking.
"Clarence has told me you'd be here soon. He had to leave unexpectedly for a short while, so I'm afraid you'll be stuck with me for a little while." She laughed then, even as she served Trinity a drink and placed a bowl of cookies in front of her. She then sat down into a chair opposite her. "Clarence wanted me to apologise profoundly for his sudden departure. One of his pupils had a little accident that demanded immediate attention," she sighed regretfully. "But dear Johnny will be here soon. He seemed quite concerned for you!" She seemed delighted as she said it. "John said you can shapeshift into a hawk?" she asked questioningly.

Trinity allowed herself to be lead into the strange house. "An accident? Oh I hope everyone's alright." She said worriedly, taking a look around at the house until she ended up in the kitchen. She loved the smell! She was reminded of her own mother as the woman cheerfully presented her with food.
She took a bite of cookie and nodded. "John is coming? I'm glad to hear that!" Trinity wrapped his jacket closer around her. "I need to give this back to him. By chance can you tell me more about Clarence and Johnathan please? I would love to know more about this organization and them. If that's alright. Oh did he...? No its not just a hawk. I shape shift into birds... I think. So far I've been a dove and a hawk. I don't know what else I can be yet."

"Clarence is handling it, it will be fine," Deb sounded fully confident of her husband. "Oh! You've only just found out about your powers? That must be so exciting and scary for you!" Debbie exclaimed, "Why, I remember finding out, I thought it was the scariest thing ever, but I got used to it and now I wouldn't want to have it any other way."
She pondered Trinity's other question. "Oh, an organisation? Well, I don't know of any, but they are in regular contact with other trainers and their pupils. Maybe that's what John meant. Did he say organisation? You would have to ask him about that."
Deb took a cookie of her own. "What would you like to know about my husband and about John? Dear Johnny is like a son to us, the sweetheart. He's been in and out of here ever since Clarence started training him, since he was thirteen. Do you like him?" she asked, eyes sparkling in delight.

"Its very exciting and very very scary" She answered with a quick nod. "I hope I get that way! I would really love to fly and I hope I can learn to do other things as well."
She bit into another cookie, chewing thoughtfully. "Well he might have said something about other organizations. I'm not really sure... I'm fairly new at this entire thing. I'll ask him... I have to give him his coat back." Which she didn't really want to part with. It was a comfortable coat.
"What they do... What's expected of me... that sort of thing. Will I need to fight?" When she asked about John she nearly choked on the milk she was drinking. "Well I only met him once but I do like him... He's a very kind person."

Deb's eyes twinkled knowingly. "Fight? Heavens! I hope not! What makes you say that? Who would you fight? Why would you fight?" Deb was frowning, concern for Trinity obvious.

"We have powers I assumed.... well I guess I shouldn't assume." She put laid her arms on the table and rested her head on them. She caught John's smell on the jacket wondered if he'd let her keep it. Not for that of course but because it was comfortable. Maybe she should forget to give it back or something. Why had she worn it today...?
"Do you know when they'll be here?"

"It's quite alright, dear," Deb told her softly, putting her hand on Trinity's arm. "I think John should be here--"
"I'm HOME!" John called out from somewhere else. "Deb?"
"--right about now," Deb finished, laughing. "In the kitchen, John. With a guest, even!"
John came in then. His was messy today, with no gel in it. He did look very well groomed though, very neatly taken care of. He smiled when he saw Trinity. "Heya Trinity! It'd never thought I'd say this, but it's nice to see you with some clothes on," he chuckled. "How are you? Did your parents give you much trouble?" While he spoke, he had gone over to Deb and kissed her on the cheek, before nicking a cookie from the plate. He motioned for Deb to stay seated and then took a seat of his own.
"Isn't Clarence here?" he asked Deb. She shook her head. "Lizzie had an accident, so Clarence went to resolve it."
"Lizzie?" John asked, frowning. "Hm." He blinked then and turned back to Trinity. "How've you been?" he repeated.

Trinity laughed slightly when John arrived mid-sentence. "Yes its much better with clothes on..." She was wearing a blue tank top that only showed her stomach and dark blue jeans, plus his coat. "My parents understood the situation although they don't wish me to go out for sometime. I told them this was for training and they let me leave though my father drove me here for safety's sake. Oh... When I leave today I must go to the bird rescue and I was wondering if you'd like to join me?"
She stole another cookie. "I'm very well, thanks." She took off the coat slowly and offered it to him. "Umn... here you are... though I must say its really comfortable."

"Heh, you can keep it, if you like," John offered. "It'll be something for you to remember me by," he smirked and winked.
"I'm glad your folks didn't give you much trouble," he told Trinity. And he did seem pleased about that.
Deb was just beaming at the both of them.
"Bird rescue? Sure thing, sounds like fun!" John nodded. "When do you need to leave? We could reschedule the training session for another day," he suggested to Deb and Trinity. "Depending on what has happened, it could take a while," he shrugged.
Deb nodded. "That's true. The two of you can spend as long as you like here, I've got a pie in the oven that's almost ready. But if you have to leave, don't let me keep you, sweetie!" She told Trinity, concerned.

A bright smile lit her face and she quickly put the coat back on. "Thank you very kindly...." She paused really wanting to work with her raptors. "Well... I don't ever *have* to be there since I'm a volunteering... but I do have my Bird of Prey license and as soon as I turn 18 then plan on hiring me. Oh!" She pulled out a cellphone. "If you want, you can have him call me when he returns. The bird rescue isn't too, too far away and we could probably make it back in under a half an hour.
"Would that work? That way he doesn't have to rush back and we don't have to take up your time!"

Deb nodded. She beamed even as she clasped her hands together. "That's marvelous! Wait, let me make you a lunch box! I won't let you leave without some cookies!" She jumped up to quickly put together a care package.
Johnny was smiling fondly at Debbie from behind her and winked at Trinity. He stood to receive the cookies and kissed Deb on the cheek. "Thanks, Deb. See you later. Clarence can call me."
He took Trinity's hand. "Come, let's go. I've a bike out back."
Not just a bike. A really gorgeous, awesome, cool motorbike! It was very bright darkblue and looked spotless and very well taken care of.
"Hope you're not scared of that?" John asked Trinity with a grin. He was juggling two helmets around in his hands.

Trinity giggled happily and writing her number down on a piece of paper. Once they were out of earshot she smiled back at the kitchen. "You really do seem to adore her. She's not your mother though, is she?"
Oooh! A nice bike!
Trinity rose an eyebrow at him. "Scared?" She quipped grabbing the a helmet from him and strapping it on. "I know how to drive it." She wasn't boasting. Her boyfriend had one and taught her how to use it. In fact he was mildly surprise when she sped around in it rather then being cautious. She told him it felt like flying. "In fact, should I drive since I know where we're going?"

"She could have been," John told her, then continued to look in surprise as Trinity hopped up. He laughed in delight. "You drive? Excellent! Lets's go!" He told her, excited. He put on a helment too and hopped on behind her, taking her waist into a firm grip as to 'not fall off'.
