Some girl today was saying that vampires should be feared, not a sex symbol.
I looked out the window wistfully and sighed, saying "But arent they?"
I really only did it for show, my friend was right there and I knew he would love it, but the girl got annoyed. Of course, Cecelia is always pretty annoyed...

person: Why do you like vampires so much? me: Do YOU look like a god?
person: Why do you keep reading that stupid book? me: Cause it has smarter things to say than you do.

Insane person who refuses to read these books: Why are you two always talking about those books? I don't see what's so great about them.
Option 1: Yell at the insane person who refuses to read these books and start reciting quotes from the books, insisting that they MUST be read!
Option 2: Ignore insane person who refuses to read these books and keep obsessing over the latest chapter.

Things I would say to someone who was bugging me about being obsessed: THEM "why are you always reading that?!" ME "It's my happy place" THEM "You're living in a fantasy world!" Me "It's the world I want to live in... *sigh*"

Well, if someone is obssessed with something and they think that it's weird, just say: "Obsessions are a part of life..." My friend from, like, third grade used to say that. I don't know why...

I tell that to my mom whenever she accuses me of being obsessed...

What do I say about obsession over Twilight? It's unhealthy, first off.
But all the teenager girls fawning over a popsicle man will grow out of it in time and realize that the book isn't the most wunderfullll piece of literature and that it pales in comparison with books like Wuthering Heights or The Scarlet Letter.
Just a matter of time.
