Zhou Yu arrived through the city gate of the Imperial City. He stumbled through and landed on the stone street on hands and knees. "Finally!" he shouted kissing the street.

(Sorry its so short. ^^())

Meiyi didn't know whether to laugh or scold her traveling companion. She could certainly understand his actions, however. It seemed to take them an eternity to reach the Imperial City, what with all the obstacles they ran into along the way.

"Hey," she said, tugging at his arm with a smile. "Lets go find a hotel!"

She was desperate for a bath, something one only found when lucky when traveling. And a real bed, with thick blankets and soft pillows.

((No problem! Our characters were traveling together. . . right?))

((Yep, along with a certain ghost in a tablet. XD))

Zhou Yu stood up and looked around. "Good idea, but where do we start looking. I've only ever been here once and I haven't stayed in a hotel here before. Hmmm...." he said scratching his chin at the massive amount of people just walking around. "This could be difficult." he said.

"Lets just ask someone," Meiyi said, looking around for anyone who was idle. She stood on her toes to look over the crowd, peering as far away as she could. She spotted a sign over a small shop with a large sliding door that read BLACKSMITH.

Taking Zhou Yu's hand in hers, Meiyi lead him thru the crowd, pointing in the direction of the shop. "There's a smith over there. He probably knows where we can find an inn."

Not to mention he probably had some decent weapons.

Zhou Yu was pulled along through the crowd towards the smithy. When they stopped in front of the smithy, he looked up and noticed a giant man with a large hammer standing over an anvil was looking at them. The man looked back and forth when his eyes rested on Meiyi. "Can I help you miss?" he asked.

Meiyi bowed slightly to the man. "I hope so," she said. "My companion and I are looking for an a place to stay. Can you think of anyplace with room to spare?"

Well, most of the inns are full now that its Arena season. But I think there was one near the Black Leopard School that has space. Although..." he said scratching his chin. "You might not want to go there with the new headmaster and all." he said.

"Headmaster?" asked Zhou Yu curiously.

"Aye, the new headmaster took over and now all the students have become violent and aggressive, going to the inn and fighting people, mugging them, and many other more brutal things. So, you might reconsider that." he said cautiously.

Meiyi's brow furrowed in confusion.

Even Tien's Landing had better governing than that. . .

"Why aren't the Imperial Guards doing anything about that?" she asked. "And who's the headmaster that would allow his students to run rampant like that?"

"He was an old student of the former headmasters. He said he defeated the headmaster in a battle, but the truth is that nobody has seen the master for a long time and their are no witnesses to his battle. So nobody really knows what really happened to the real headmaster." he said as he shook his head sadly.

"As for the Imperial Guards, they aren't really trained for handling a school full of martial artists. A few of them tried to handle it themselves, but they were found a few days later stone dead in the river. The Emporer should send the army after them, but he is too busy to care." he said sadly.

"An army? For martial art students?!" Meiyi asked in alarm. Could they truly be that powerful? Staying at a school full of rowdy students didn't seem too bad to her at first, but now she wasn't so sure. She looked at her companion.

"What do you think, Zhou Yu?"

Zhou Yu sighed to himself. "I want to talk to this headmaster. I knew the old Headmaster, Grandmaster Hwa, and he was a good friend of mine as well as my fathers." he said. "Otherwise, I wouldn't want to go there at all. But..." he said looking at the ground. "I must know what happened to him."

Meiyi sighed. She didn't much want to go, but she couldn't let Zhou Yu go on his own. And besides, if they played their cards right maybe they could get in and out without having to draw any blood.

But somehow she doubted that.

"Right then. To the Black Leopard School. But first. . . " Her gaze returned to the blacksmith, and she smiled slightly. "May we see your inventory?"

The blacksmith smiled and turned around. "Anythin' ya see here is for sale." he said as he slid a large metal wall panel open, revealing any weapon imaginable.

Her coin purse was considerable light, and with any luck they'd be staying at an inn and would need money for a room, so Meiyi only picked a few weapons- some throwing knives to replace the ones she lost on the journey here. She eyed the war fan, but decided to return for it later.

Turning towards the blacksmith she smiled and held out payment for the knives. "Here you are," she said before tucking her purse and her new weapons away.

"Shall we go?" she asked Zhou Yu.

Zhou Yu nodded and walked with her to the gates of the school. The Black Leopard School sat on a large hill with a gate sitting at the bottom of it. Zhou Yu leaned forward and pushed the gates open. But before he could even walk through the gates, he could sense something dark moving around in the shadows.

He looked over at Meiyi. "I'm sorry for asking you to come. When we are finished here, I promise we can go on vacation for a little bit." he said to her.
