Oh...wow.
She was going to get a Lifetime Achievement Award next month ..and she died the day before the 44th anniversary of Doctor Who...

That's sad. Without her, one of the best damn shows ever created would never even have existed. If only she had lived long enough to recieve that lifetime accievement award. She deserved it.

Bugger.
She'd count as a giant of the industry even if she'd never been near Doctor Who. She was always proud of her involvement with the series, but as a fandom we should be more proud that our show was involved with Verity Lambert.
