He should have know better than to wander away from his usual haunts but he'd taken the chance. Things couldn't get that bad after all. He was generally lucky like that.
Shaking his head he plopped down in a nice patch of shade and waited. Something told him there would be something happening on this area not long from now and he'd rather be prepared for it than surprised. Surprises were never fun unless you were on the giving end of them.

"Oh, dreadfully aweful, aweful,." a femanine voice sounded in the distance. The purple, curly-haired kitsu was certainly out of her element. Used to the pampering of her parents, and luxury of her father's lands, this little escursion was turning out to be less fun than she had previously thought. Her paws high-stepped over the mushy ground, and her furr bristled at the ghastly sight of the almost swampy grounds. "Iee told juu not tu take diz way, but du juu listen to Brother? Nuuu!" Came a heavily accented voice soon after. Looking for a little adventure himself, Brother had tagged along with the luck kitsusagi, as of sort of 'guide'. However, the little pampered princess was proving almost annoying to him, as he was to her."Oh, bugger-off!" they finally came to what appeared to be a roadway, with a clearing not far off. "We're out of there now, at least, so no more complaining!" Nicolina scolded her odd-looking guide, who wasn't really doing much guiding"WHOOOO waz com-PLAIN-innng!?"

His ears perked as he heard voiced and a brow raised at the sound of those voices. Somehow one of them sounded in a way familiar even if he couldn't place how or why.
He stayed under his tree and watched the two work their way up the road toward where he was sitting. They'd either notice him or they'd get a start once they past him and he decided to make his presence known.

The two continued thier argueing, untill the Luck Kitsusagi spotted the unfamiliar kitsu. "OH!" Nicolina quickly put on a appologetic smile. "I'm dreadfully sorry, we didn't disturn you did we?"
"Dizturb who?" Brother asked, looking at the Luck, befor following her gaze to the other. He immediately shut his yap - music to Nicolina's ears, and let the more linquistic kitsu speak.

"No love, you didn't." he smirked at them. "I'm afraid i heard you coming long before i could see you." His gaze turned toward the male with her before going back to the little luck kitsuagai.

"SEE! I told juu not tu complain so much!" Brother never did keep quiet for long,...
"YOU, told ME!? Proposterous!" She looked to Brother with a displeased look, before looking back to Luxord. "I appologise. I'm afraid I did not pick too wonderful of a guide to escort me through these parts. My name is Nicolina, and you are?"
"I am a WONDERRFUL guide!" Brother protested, before being silenced by a rather un-ladylike glare from Nicolina.
"And my companion is called Brother."

"Luxord, pleasure to make your aquantiance." He bowed slightly before he straightened up and smirked lazily at the two. "You could have picked far worse guides. At least so long as he is loud anything nasty is bound to get out of your way."
Unless it was nasty and intelligent. Then it would just take the opportunity to follow the two.

Nicolina chuckled, bringing a paw to her nose. "Well, I never thought of it that way!" "HEY!" Offended, brother bound towards Luxord, front paws flailing as he balanced on his back legs. "wha-AAAAT, du juu mean by zat!?" The Al-Bhed kitsu was quite accentric and loud,.however slightly slow. Nicolina could only shake her head. "Again-" she shoved Brother. "I appologise for my companion. It is a pleasure to meet you, Luxord." She gave a bow of her head in responce.
Brother pretended to be hurt when Nicolina shoved him away - even going so far as to add a fake limp. "Oh, Nicoooo~ How you WOUND me, so!"
Once again, she looked at Brother and huffed a sigh. "fate has a cruel since of humor - sneding him to be my guide. Ironically enough, I'm not laughing. So-" She put on a more pleasant look, ignoring Brother as he rolled about 'woundedly'. "How would you be on this bright Autumn day?"

"I assure you i deal with far louder things on a daily basis" Between Axel's constant poking at Demyx and the musicians constant need to do -something- it wasn't never quiet around him for long.
"I am doing rather well. It's a perfectly pleasant day to be wandering around where one is often not found."

"Even if the being found is not so pleasant?" She inquired, before rolling the smokey purple orb she kept with her between her fore-paws, and resting one atop it with a quaint fondness.
"Being alone iz BOREING!" brother chimed in. He himself spent many of his days alone, and perhaps he was a tad to eager to be in the company of others. Bah, he had never been good socially anyway! "and juu herd him, Nico! I iz not louuud!" He proded Nicolina in the shoulder, much like she had done him earlier.
"I heard nothing of the sort!" She said to brother, pourning her nose to the sky. Luxord has said 'far louder'. that did not imply that Brother wasn't, indeed, loud by any means!

"I wouldn't say being found is unpleasnt. One could say i expected it." Expected wasn't the word but it was easier to explain it that way than try to explain the other option.
Looking to Brother he laughed slightly. "You sir, are very loud. You are just a different kind of loud than i am used to. So comparatively speaking you aren't as loud as you could be."

"It's funny, you say you expected to be found, but I've only seen you and Brother during the past two days,.. Where do you supposed the other kitsu are? I was hoping to meet many new friends on my travels. You see, I have never left my Father's lands, and so I've not ever explored this part of the mountain. I came expecting to make many new friends, but it eems those are more scarece then I had imagined,..." The luck kitsusagi told her story. She could be quite the challty little thing, once she was ingaged in conversation.
"Different kinds of loud?" Brother didn't quite understand this. He twitched an ear - making his many ear rings jingle as he pondered this. Though, his mind quickly wondered as Nicolina spoke her story. "I thought juu wanted me tu take juu to ze HQ? Du we have TIMEEEEEE tu be here tal-kinnng like zis!?" Brother had become quite restless since leaving his delapidated junk heap of a home.

"I'm sure they're about somewhere." His usual companions were most likely about doing something to cause trouble somehow. There would be others about somewhere if only for simple odds of space and population. "Give it time love. Mountains weren't created in a day and it takes longer than a moment to make friends."

Nicolina sighed, "I suppose so,.." The gusty cool wind gut up under her furr and she gave a faint shiver. "I guess I can't blame them for not being out and about. This weather is horridly dreadful- and only getting worse to!
"Diz weather is not so bad!" He would not admit to missing the hot sands of the dessert, the treeless landscape, full of dunes, and a clear, cloudless, sky above. Nope! He couldn't let himself think about that!

He smirked. "I would have to say one advantage to this coat is it is rather warm." He eyed the black over his shoulders and haunches. The black soaked up the heat of the day and it was far more wind resistant than he ever thought it would be.
"I would say a slight chill from the wind is much better than the oppressive heat of say ..... a savanna."
