Ah hah...
In light of the new design-an-item contest going on, I was curious to see who here would actually be interested in something like a Santa Cow plush doll (to show Gaian support for returning Santa to his real body... or support to keep his current form off the barbecue) or other bovine-related winter holiday items. I have a boatload of designs flooding my quarters, but I have this depressing notion that I'm the only one to actually desire any of them.
I apologize if this is in the wrong category; the Crew can move it wherever they want, even to the trash bin if so desired. Just, er, PM me to let me know where it's gone to, please. biggrin

Yay, I wasn't ignored this time~! heart Well... we do have a cowbell item. I'm wearing it right now, in fact; I like it better than the standard black tie we're supposed to wear with our suits. The contest right now is "holiday themed", hence my original suggestion. Otherwise, I'd've also thrown in the cowsuit pajamas I whipped up--think the (***** or gorilla pajamas, but more beefy--or the mini cow horns to offset the massive steer horns from last year (which, again, I'm wearing). The problem with both is that, of course, they're a tad too similar to current items (especially my idea for the horns; they look like a friendlier version of the Horns of the Demon donation item). ... What about a sled item that your avatar could sit down on with steer horns attached to the front (ack, flashback of Christine... Christmas edition, even)? That might be a flop, though... Here is a quick MSPaint doodle of what the plush might look like, just sitting alone (sorry about the quality; I'm in the library right now, so I can't scan anything). And for the record, the older SNL skits make me giggle. biggrin

Agreed. In all seriousness, though, a cow plushie would be SO awesome. I'd buy like 10 of them xp heart

... You all have no idea how big of a grin is on my face right now. It surpasses the ones I habitually place at the ends of my posts, even.
Ah, yeah, I didn't think the horns would go over that well anyway. But should I keep the ones on the sled, or is that a little... overboard?
So what if, in order to play to the theme of the current contest, I were to modify my cow PJs to be Santa Cow? Would that be an improvement, or should I just stick to the original idea (which, now that I think about it, looks awfully similar to the comic representation of Arakawa Hiromu, minus the glasses)?
I'm so happy that the plush doll is so well-received! Looks like I'll have to get a moo-ve (sorry, couldn't resist) on with the final version of the design to submit. biggrin

Submitted it (finally). Now to work on the sled. I'm so happy that so many people like this idea. Hah, I was afraid it'd only get negative comments from everyone. I'll work out the PJ design later, as it wouldn't fit the "holiday" theme that this contest has. I hope that there will be another contest in the future without a specific theme, though, so I can submit it then. biggrin
