Teepee location: By a river Qin picked his way along the river, gazing into its murky depths. He saw a small basket drifting near the sidebank. Running over, he scooped it up with his mouth and gently set it down on the ground. He couldn't make out the name on the handle, it had been smudged to unreadibility by the water. He nudged aside the lid and saw a great assortmant of treats and other commodities. He whinnied shrilly in delight.

Edward, by coincidence I assure you, was walking along the same river. Seeing the black basket also, he ran towards it, hoping to bring it to shore. His curiosity was awoken, as he was slowly closing in on the basket. Never noticing the other stallion, he reached his head forward to grab it as it passed by. Until it disappeared suddenly. Moving his head, he then saw a stallion with clothes and a funny hat. And he had the basket!

Qin warily eyed the newcomer. He was wearing some sort of funny red robe. Qin tilted his head to the side a bit, confused. He protectivly stood in front of the basket and said, "Can I help you with something?" He shuffled in place, he was unused to confrontations.

Ed raised a brow at the other stallion’s odd behavior. He was standing in front of the basket, and didn’t look like he was going to move any time soon. “Yes, you can. I want to see what is in the basket.” He thought for a moment, and then decided to add, “Please.”

Qin felt very protective of the sweet treats inside the basket. He had no doubt that once the stranger saw what was in the basket, he would want to claim it for himself. He shuffled around a little more, trying to stall, then gave up. "Yes..." he said slowly. He moved out from the front of the basket, and gingerly lifted the lid to show the stranger the contents of the basket.

Ed moved towards the basket, lowering his head to see what lay inside the basket. His eyes widened upon seeing the contents of the basket. Abruptly, he was hungry. Everything looked so good in the small basket. Slowly lifting his head back up he began to think of a way to get something out of the treasure pile before him.

Qin quickly pulled the lid back over the basket as the stranger pulled away. He picked up the basket and straightened up. Through the mouthful of basket he mumbled, "ell I'll e eeing ou" Which was roughly translated as, 'Well, I'll be seeing you.' Qin backed up to leave the clearing, eyeing the stranger, knowing that he was going to make some sort of move to steal the basket and its precious contents.

Ed heard his mumbled words and, not wanting his basket to be taken away from him, followed after, keeping a short distance. “Hey, I saw that basket first. I was going to bring it in. So I think its mine.” He called out to the stallion. The funny hat was covering up the white stallions eyes, and he would bet that pulling the basket, filled with treats, was getting to be tiring.

Qin, slightly panting, set the basket down and retorted, "Well, you may have seen it first, but I grabbed it first." He pushed his cap up a little more on his head, and glared at the other stallion. It was painfully obvious that the stranger was trying to cajole him into giving up the basket filled with wondereous goodies.

Ed glared. “No, its mine. If you hadn’t taken it from the river, it would have been mine. I saw it first. You are stealing!” He yelled the last word, and paced over to the basket, reached down, and grabbed the end of it. He then gave a large tug, moving it away from the other, who was also glaring.

Qin neighed indignantly, and yelled, "No! Its mine!" He furiously grabbed the other side of the basket and gave a giant yank, pulling it away from the stranger. He fummed, and spat though clenched teeth,"Well! Finders keepers loosers weepers! And, you obviously lost!, I got it first!"

Ed spat out, “No, its mine! You are a thief, give me my basket darn you.” It was all mumbled due to the basket that was being pulled between them. He clenched his jaw and started to try and back away, gaining ground, and taking the basket with him. Now it was a huge game of tug-of-war. Why wouldn’t he just let it go?!

Qin grimaced as the preasure of the basket increased, they must both be putting all their weight into pulling. He grinned, and let go. He watched with satisfaction as the basket slingshotted backward at unimaginable speed, the force from his side suddenly released. He would not have wanted to be the stranger right now, it would be mighty uncomftorable when the basket hit him.

As if in slow motion, Ed’s eyes crossed and he felt something hit his face. He fell backwards, landing on his behind, and the basket flew somewhere behind him. He sat there stunned, his coat bunched around him and blinking dazedly. He turned his head to look over his shoulder to see where the basket had gotten too. He saw the basket, but more importantly, he saw the treats. They were scattered everywhere. He looked out of the corner of his eye to see if the other had noticed.

Qin had watched with satisfaction as the basket hit the stranger. It changed to horror as he saw the lid of the basket fly off, and all the delicious treats and goodies fly everywhere. "No!" He yelped. He grabbed the basket, looking inside. There was only a little of the sweet treats left. He hurridly ran around, trying to get all the treats before the stranger could.
