ok.. so out of boredon, i had an idea..
if we all get everyone, from this guild and others.. all to try and effect/attack someone who is on live tv (i vote bush)
all be sheduled, a recorded test, with an unknowing person, no middle men, with someone who is not sensitive, if they react or something, we sucseed, they dont, were all failures, we all suck.. loads of people who all fail at 1 test
the thing about doing it between 2 people, is 1, both of you are most probably sensitive anyway, 2, your expecting it, 3, seeing as normally its just 1v1, its mostly "omfg i felt a itch on my arm!"
everyone doing a combined attack on 1 person? more like she feints
see how many people we can get behind us on this, im going to be posting this in various other guilds aswell.. such as MR, LW, GCFMDV, MPRILC and others
if theres enough support. wede have to organise a time, a target, and a show.... has to be something live so they cant edit it.. and the show needs to be recorded by 1 person at least to upload to youtube (as, for instance, i dont get all USA broadcasts and u americans dont get our UK broadcasts, i can record from tv if were doing an english target)
so whos with me?
EDIT - i realise that this is probably going against eveyrthing most people go by.. karma.. 3 fold laws.. harm none etc.. but.. really.. if ur going to believe that.. why not test it? i know alot of people are going to be put off with the words "attack" but.. if u dont want to attack, dont, try and make em sneeze.. u put down the effect ur going to try and induce, and if it happens.. well done you.
its the biggest proof you can get.. someone who has no idea about it, who cant fake, who is being filmed LIVE and being broadcasted LIVE.. they cant edit.. how much more proof can you get?

The reason I don't go around hurting someone isn't because of karma or the three-fold law...it's because it goes against the core of who I am. I don't care to test out karma, because honsetly, it's not important to me if it exists or not. I just refuse to hurt someone, especially for something as petty as proving myself right.

Wings of Aegis I vote Criss Angel.... twisted Naw, in all seriousness, I'd participate on one condition. Nobody gets seriously hurt. Period. evil The moment I started reading this experiment, I knew this was going to be brought up. Honestly, I think it would be an excellent idea. The show is on Wednesdays at 8/7c. Let's pick a Wednesday, watch the show, pick a time that's NOT a commercial break, and give it a go. We KNOW it's live, because of the mentalist contestants, and Criss comments on all of them. So, why not pick a floating time, like after the third performance, or, better yet, if he survives the cut, after Jim's performance. XD

HA lawl screw that! I ignore karma. I don't always hurt people intentionally, I just wouldn't feel bad if I did. I don't like karma. It's just an excuse to get you to feel guilty. Whoever invented guilt is stupid. It's soooo much better to just do whatever the heck your heart tells you to do.

It's not that I dislike it or like it, it's just that I'm going to own up to my own actions with it or without it. I feel guilt not because of karma, but when I go against my heart...which tells me not to hurt people. neutral But, yeah. I'll contribute a bit still, because I honestly don't think we're going to be able to seriously hurt him. sweatdrop

Just some variety of reaction, especially if we all focus on one thing, like his funny bone or something. Perhaps one of our better telepaths could send him a message like, "Yes, we're real." I just think it would be a great psy-prank.

Do you want to know the secret on how to do this? Don't think you can't. Don't think you can. Know you can. Know harder than you've known before, and it will happen. Such is Will, you know?
Also, ******** yeah let's do it. Just give us a time, place, and effect/range of effects to shoot for.

Allow me to point out really quick that this has been tried. And it failed. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/uri-gellers-internet-challenge/2908501347 Uri Geller once hosted an internet challenge to have someone bend a spoon in a locked room. Nobody could. The experiment was taken down but still the evidence stands. I doubt we could do something like that for no good reason.

The experiment was taken down but still the evidence stands. I doubt we could do something like that for no good reason. We're not trying to bend a spoon; we're trying to affect a person. A spoon has little energy and ability to be manipulated by itself, especially over distance. A person, however, is a much easier thing to play with over distances, although I've found it's easier to produce energetic effects such as sleepiness, increase or decrease in temperature, etc., than it is to say, telekinetically make them smack themselves. @Azana: I think it might be worth a shot. I don't think Jim will last simply because his act sucked and all of the Criss Angel fangirls/boys are hating on him. But either way, we could try going after the host and making him burst into fits of sneezing or something. The possibilities are endless. We just need to come up with something to try for.

Meh, sue me for having a sense of poetic justice. razz Anyway, we need something doable, but not in his natural range of motions on the hot seat. I think sneezing would be good, but let's make sure that the performer isn't using something that would cause someone to sneeze; it'd be too easy to dismiss. I still put in a vote for having some telepaths try sending him a message. XD Sorry, I'm enjoying this way too much.

Also, I doubt he'd be levitating during the course of the show. I just hope I can make it back in time for the show...
So, when are we trying this?
