References: Reference Pic. There are plenty of other Himawari costumes out there, but this is the one that I love best. It's definitely the costume that I'd like to see her in.
Eyes: Magenta (like in the reference picture)
Base: Follow the reference for her body fur tone. Her tails should be as black as her hair. Her wings should be magenta and salmon pink, with a little bit of black (exact pattering is up to the colorist!)
Markings: Salmon-colored markings on her ears and legs. The salmon pink should match the flowers on her dress.
Markings Style: See the butterfly drawn in the background of the reference pic? And the grey edges of Himawari's dress? I'd like any marking lines to have that same flowing, curved knot-work. The exact design is up to you. A butterfly motif would be cool, but is not at all necessary. <3
Basically, I love markings, and I wish more cosplays had them. Feel as free to go as crazy as you want. Whatever you think will look good!
