What was the hardest Weapon for u to kill? It took me like an hour to kill the Ruby Weapon.

I beat all of them except Ruby. I just gave up on him after 30 tries.

Ruby was easy, you just throw dazzers at it, then go nuts with your omnipowerful attacks, it'll take a hour or so and you'll win, unless you have knights of the round, then it'll take a matter of minutes.
The hard one is Emerald, theres no real way to overpower it, so it comes down to Luck, Mine, and raping it with three over powered limit breaks plus two tons of mega elixirs. Also prayer, lots of prayer that it never uses tidal amn storm when your almost dead.
Now if anyone has a secret to Emerald, I'm all ears as its a pain.

it was a pain to kill all of them, but i would have to say that the emerald was the hardest for me. mostly cause of the time limit sweatdrop

I hated the Emerald Wep.

Strous it was a pain to kill all of them, but i would have to say that the emerald was the hardest for me. mostly cause of the time limit sweatdrop Oh you can get rid of the limit if you do a little quest, I forgot what it was though. me I thought the ruby was the hardest because he would always use the quicksand ability and get rid of two of my characters. after awhile I kinda just gave up.

Ruby Weapon was definitely the toughest of the three final Weapons. I can beat Emerald like nothing, now, but Ruby will always give me trouble.

Emerald is twice as hard as ruby. Even with Quicksand.

Emerald WEAPON was easy with Knight's of the Round and the Underwater Materia.....you know no time limit
And Ruby was easy
I have my materia set up so i basiclly cannot die and i use hades materia and Knights of the Round
Its ultima attack doesn't even do damage to me anymore because of how i am set up.
I also know the very rare special combonation to make it so physical damage no longer hurts me

Personally, all the Weapons were a breeze for me.
Emerald is susceptible to Gravity, so a Mime-chain using Quadra-Magic is a good way to score quick, cumulative damage. Also, Aire Tam Storm is a move that does damage based on the number of materia equipped times 1,111. If you go in light, there's no reason to fear it. Final-Attack-Revive or Phoenix is a godsend in this battle.
Now, Ruby.
The trick to this is to place Cloud in the middle and kill off both party members before the fight. If this is done, Ruby will always have its claws buried. Now, the way I won this was by equipping eight Mastered Counter Attack Materia, and using W-Item to use Hero Drink and Elixir every turn. I then simply let him hit Cloud, and watched him counter away. This takes a very long time, but as long as Cloud does not sustain the damage to die in a single turn, it is impossible to lose. (Omnislash is not a good idea, as I learned. Afterward Cloud was slaughtered because I couldn't cure him fast enough.)
Also, for each of these fights, casting Big Guard is essential to being able to keep up with everything..especially healing.
The people who say that they killed it in seconds with KotR are lying, unless they equipped Counter-KotR-Hp-Absorb-Mp-Absorb in all slots. Sorry, kiddies. You've been caught.

To get the underwater materia, you morph the large ship thingie into a guide book and give it to the traverler located in Kalm. The large ship monster is located in the underwater reactor passage way.
Sigh, I've never beaten the weapons non story related. I consider emerald and ruby that.

For me the more hard is Ruby XP ever kill me in 1 hit and i try 30 times xo
