I didn't expect my first visit to be so soon, but I did something kind of brave on Tuesday. I asked for an application. At first the store manager warned me that they wanted someone with experience, yada yada, but it ended with her saying "I'll be back on Thursday if you want to drop off your application."
Well, after I registered to take my GED (FINALLY! WOOOOOOOO!!), I went into The Avenue. (Go plus size clothing stores)! Anyway, getting distracted lol. I went into Avenue and the lady recognized me. She said I came at the perfect time because she was already interviewing! She said I could interview right then if I wanted to wait!
I waited about 30 minutes for the first interview, then I took about an hour and 30 for mine! lol I was worried, but I met two of my future co-workers, and they were both really nice, and Karen, the store manager, started talking like I was already working there.
Near the end she said she still had 4 people to interview, but that I'd probably get a call. She ended it with "Well this week's schedule's full already, so you'll have to start next schedule, which is sunday to saturday"! Can you believe it!? XD
And I didn't fake who I was, either. I was open and playful, which is how I usually am. All the ladies there seemed wonderful, and really seemed to like me. (I told them I was a nudist and they still hired me lol).

Yay!!
Phaedra's back on the job market again, so she knows how nerve-wracking it can be to try and get one. Glad things seem to be sailing along so smoothly for you. biggrin

I could totaly use more bras.
I have a job as Operations Manager/DJ as soon as a new station goes live.
Its fustrating that I have to hire people on but there is no official hq yet.
