I'm not a muslim, but I know a slight bit about the religion. They gave out mass classes about it to spread tolerance after the 9/11 incident. It was a good thing, and I learned alot, but I forgot most of it by now. sweatdrop

Yeah, I've seen so much bullshit about muslims being terrorists. It drives me nuts. Especially since most muslim ideals are for peace. *mutter mutter*
But yeah, I've always found The muslim religion to be very interesting.

the majority of this country (america ...sorry if you live elsewhere) is just caught up and brainwashed of all this propaganda
we muslims are not terrorists at all
we believe in peace
and jihad (religious war) is not terrorism...people have just turned it into it

One of my good friends in college, David, was Muslim. At the time we were going to Brigham Young University-Hawai'i, a very small, private, church-run university... run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. While he certainly wasn't the ONLY student there that was not Mormon, he was definitely in the minority. I always thought it showed an extra amount of dedication to practice his beliefs so faithfully... and often so alone.
We got to discuss beliefs quite a bit, and I thought it was just plain fascinating. Also tragic that so often among the ignorant a group of people is judged by it's worst tiny fraction. I see it happen everywhere, but especially with Islam... people deciding that an entire Religion should be based on the actions of terrorists, people who claim the religion, but don't even follow it!

I'll admit I used to dislike muslims. But then I met some in real life. Now I dont have anything bad to say.
