Hi, I need help learning the basics, in order to create a website.

First, I hope that you've accessed the help file for the program. It's probably going to be your best first reference for using a program. That said, what exactly is the problem with your using Dreamweaver right now?

err.... yeah , I mean its a little expensive to not know how to use it xd.

hopefully it came with the computer he just got???

errr... yeh.. i have the full visual studio set and I don't know how to use it >.>...

Anyway, the best thing to do is "borrow" source codes off websites and seeing hoe dreamweaver pulls them apart. Quite interesting actually... Just general messing around is how I learned how to do it! See my site http://www.redsquirrelwebs.com, then hopefully at some point you will make a site you are proud of and you will post links everywhere... unklike me sweatdrop .
