Damn. The urge had grown to be more than the mage could bare. Despite his resistance, he found himself wandering, searching. For what, he always denied to speak aloud. He just let his paws lead him to the mysterious destination. The small visits he had made with the -kitsusagi- of this world, it had been enough information gathered. He knew enough of this world now to get by. But even with his best efforts of focusing, Fai knew that he was crumbling. Like waves beating a cavity into a rock relentlessly. But his smile had held firm.

Blue wings shuddered against his shoulders as he treaded through the woods. After some attempts to fly, the blonde had finally stopped his efforts. Walking was his only option at this point. Pale ears pinned back as it allowed his thoughts to drift, his memories recollect. How could he have forgotten? Was it a side-effect of entering this world? If so, then Kurogane was effected as well. Or, it had been a self defense for his own sanity. And that thought boiled his blood. Simply because that meant the ninja had neglected to.....what? The mage should have been on track in the first place. After all....he was the one who had commited the crime. Giving a whispered sigh, the kitsu continued to pad through the empty woods, olone with his thoughts and hunger.

Kurogane had been flying for some time now, his blood red eyes scanning the floor below him for any signs of his stupid mage. Wait did he just say his? The dark ninja's frown only worsened, his smooth glide taking a short dip as he lost his concentration. Nothing to worry about, just part of the same reason why he was feeling that aching pain in his gut and why he needed to find the mage.

Kurogane sighed loudly, hating that his composure was so easily shattered by this blonde magician, especially lately, and he hated that the said mage was pushing off what was obviously inevitable. Kurogane didn't exactly like it any more than he did. Why did he seem so intent on....dieing?

Lost in his thoughts, Kurogane had barely noticed the black and blue blur that he automatically knew to be Fai as he zoomed past.

" Tsk." With his ears, along with his blood splattered wings, folded back, Kurogane dropped into a dive keeping his eyes on the mage so as not to lose him yet again. Hardly realizing he wasn't exactly used to diving at such speeds, he barely pulled out of the dive in time and his landing was anything BUT graceful as he stumbled to a stop before the mage. His blood red eyes narrowed as he panted slightly, he wouldn't admit it but his dive kind of startled him.

" So I finally find you."

Paws had slowed to a sleepy pace, the mage paying no attention to his direction of walk. For all he was aware of, he was just floating along mindlessly. Well, not mindlessly. Just absorbed, his thoughts focused solely on the past world. Infinity. And all that had occured there. So much had happened there...

Nostrils flared at the familiar scent, and dark blue eye turned to the sky above. There was only one with that unique scent, and Fai was drawn to it like a dumb moth to a light. Ears pinned back when the one expected swooped in front of his vision. In a rather rushed and dangerous falling. The paler kitsu had to backstep some so not to get run over by the flying rookie. His face remained scrunched as the smell was only stronger with less distance between. And when the ninja spoke up, no false mask was forced into place. It was hard enough just holding his own stance, let alone appearance.

Soft locks fell forward as the mage turned his face to the side. His whole body felt tense, and he couldn't think straight. Both physical and emotional strain were taking its tole at once, something the male was unused to before. "You shouldn't be here, Kurogane."

There was that name again. Kurogane scoffed, a remark already dancing on his tongue when he noticed the way the magician looked, or rather felt. The easiest way to explain would be that the air around him was heavy, very heavy, and dangerous.

The ninja held his tongue, for the moment, and re-evaluated the situation he had literally stumbled into.

" And why shouldn't I be?" It wasn't like it was HIS fault that the stupid mage refused to feed. Three angry tails flicked behind him.

Why? There were too many why's. And Fai was in no patience to list them off, especially when the ninja already knew. He was perceptive, to the point were it became intruding.

It was like poking a viper with a stick. Blue feathers ruffled as the mage tilted his head back to the other. As if he wasn't pale enough, his 'condition' had lightened his pelt. The single eye visible glared back, a molten gold. All his senses seemed to triple, from the burn in his nose to the ringing in his ears. And by all appearances, it looked like the kitsu had just ran a mile. His breathing was deep and paced, and fatique threatening to make him fall over.

He could just turn away...fly off if need be. If only he could think clearly. But the smell...he could practically hear the pulse of the one in front of him.

Kurogane's eyes narrowed even further as he felt the mage's sudden rise in energy. It was pressing on him like the air did back in Nihon when it was humid during the summer. His reaction was the same either way, he didn't like it at all.

The ninja could only step back slightly in an attempt to get into a some what defensive stance. He had figured it would come to this after letting the mage throw a tantrum for so long, but it was still a surprise at such a change. He knew damn good and well why he shouldn't be there, but that was only because the mage thought he shouldn't be. In all actuality, in order to make this right, he needed to be there. So the ninja held firm, keeping his eyes fixed upon the mage before him.

White tipped tails swayed behind him as the mage continued to peer at the other. Bait, that's all he could see at this point. Even so, deep beneath he felt a sort of twisted pleasing. But it was gone in an instant. The ninja had reacted...simply by his new sight. Finally recieving what he wanted, yet Fai felt nothing. He had become this, and in the end, there was nothing to gain from it.

Brow twitched when the black winged kitsu moved. Back; away. His source of survival was just in reach. And instinct took over. Before Fai knew anything, could acknowledge anything, he had dashed forward. The momentum was used to tackle the other, enough so to pin him back from prolonging his goal. It was all so fast, paw reaching up to tug at the spiked collar and move it out of his way. His other paw grasped at the black sleeve to give him clear view of the target. There. Beating strongly and singing at him to indulge himself fully. Without further hesitation or explanation, the vampiric mage pressed his fangs to the tanned neck. He saw nothing. Heard nothing. Only tasting red.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit! That was all that was running through the ninja's head as he attempted to dodge the mage's advancement. But with a new body that still had some getting used to and the 'attack' being so sudden, so unlike Fai even while feeding, Kurogane couldn't react. He had certainly made a bad move.

So instead he was pinned to the ground by the blood thirsty mage, and it wasn't until he felt his spiked collar being removed did he even think to maybe get away. He had wanted for Fai to feed, but it had always been some what of a unspoken agreement, he guessed, that the mage fed from his wrist. The wristband he wore was just more than a sassy accessory, it hid plenty of scars from view. But back to the matter at hand...

Kurogane couldn't help but be stunned still. His pulse was racing and his breathing was certainly paniced, but he couldn't push himself into motion. Perhaps it was the fact that he wanted Fai to feed and get this tantrum over, and maybe also because the mage was in such a blood lust that maybe it would be safer to just let him feed. but what would happen after Fai realized how the feeding happened? Dammit yet again.

" Fai-" but his protest was cut short as he felt the sharp pain of the mage's fangs in his neck, a hiss escaping his maw as he pulled his head back as if to escape. What had they gotten into?

With an unforgiving grip in the mage's slim paw, the overdue process continued. Almost immediately the mage's body slacked, as if the red substance was a strong drug, and he let his weight fall on the other. Black clothes rustled as he allowed himself to finally relax. Fangs pressed and released to encourage the liquid to flow forward. This was truly bliss to the vampire's needs, something Fai would never accept of himself.

Blue wings adjusted from their high stance, lowering from their predatory lift to a subdued tuck. How much time had past? Seconds? Minutes? Fai didn't know, and didn't dare open his eye to figure it out. His high was slowly dying, and his senses returning to control. Still, he allowed his fangs to be embedded in the fur. They were no longer demanding, just resting...absorbing the vital essence. Had it been too much though?

Pale ears slid back as this thought slammed Fai's mind. With a shudder, he withdrew his canines, finally back to his senses. His blue eye gave evidence to that...even when hidden behind his long hair. Kitsu tongue went out and lapped away the offending red, cleaning off the furry neck. Almost like a sheepish apology.

As he felt his blood flowing from his neck, Kurogane finally just gave up trying to struggle. It angered him to be feeling this weakness poking at his mind from the blood loss, but it was what needed to be done. He stared over the mage's blonde head as he fed, trying to ignore the sound of the mage swallowing his blood. His eyelids became heavy and his pulse was becoming a slow, steady beat. The sound of his own slowing pulse was very hypnotic, and before he knew it, the ninja was dazing off as Fai continued to feed.

How much blood had he taken, and for that matter, how long had he been out of it?

The ninja blinked sluggishly as he felt Fai's fangs being retracted from his neck. He waited patiently for the mage to pull away and could only shiver as the other licked his fur clean of blood. What was this hazy feeling he was feeling? Was this a true after effect from being fed on? Or was it somethign else?

The ninja shrugged it off, and steadily pulled himself up into a sitting position, instantly locking his crimson gaze upon the mage's masked sapphire orb. His mind and body language may have been sluggish, but his gaze was as intense as ever.

Fai just remained silent once his fangs were back where they should be. He had energy now, almost too much. All he could do was sit there, listening to the slowed pace of the pinned ninja's bloodflow. He had done that.

Brows rose when he felt Kurogane shifting, and he pulled back to allow the other to move forward. Now upright, Fai could take in the aftershock. Kurogane did seem different. His skin wasn't as vibrant now, and his body movements were much too slowed compared to his normal speed. Would he pass out? The mage saved the gaze for last, almost too frightened to see what was there. Even so, he could only glimpse at it for a second, before peering away. That red would always bother him. Instead he rested his head on Kurogane's shoulder, hiding his shameful blue. Another loss of self-control like that could be unforgivable. It already was.

The mage ignored the stinging wetness threatening his eyes as his mind raced through his thoughts. How aware was the ninja now? Didn't matter. He could tell him later of what he'd discovered in this world. That Sakura-chan and Syaoran-kun weren't here. For now, the least that Kurogane deserved was rest.

Kurogane shook himself mentally as he tried to get his barrings. Sitting up that quickly wasn't exactly a good idea, and his body let him know this from the wave of nausea that hit him. He closed his eyes tightly, waiting for the sickness to pass and for his stomach to stop rolling around. He barely felt the mage rest his head on his shoulder.

He frowned then and opened his eyes when he finally thought it safe, arching a brow at the mage 'hiding' on his shoulder. For now he made no comment on it and just let it be.

" What did you find out?"

Ears pinned down to the other's rough voice. It hadn't gone unnoticed, the nausea developed from his draining meal. Not only did Fai have the vampiric senses, but now the extra senses of a kitsusagi. And with his nose so close, all body struggles could be smelled.

A sigh left the mage as he considered the question anyways. Always to the point. The skinny kitsu pulled back, but remained close just incase fatigue threatened the ninja's balance. Clear blue eye was fixed off to the side, blonde hair messy over his face. "The others aren't here." He had put the pieces together. Now it was time to see if he could rephrase it correctly. Pale paws moved together to rub away his nerves. "Sakura-chan is in...Celes. And when we transported, my magic was used along with Mokona's. I can't sense that magic anymore..." As for Syaoran, who knew. At best, he had been paired off with Mokona. If it had been the clone, he may have sensed him with his other eye. But no.

Fai shook his head with a frown. "The most to do now is look for feathers." But then what?
PostPosted: Wed Oct 24, 2007 4:08 pm

"Celes?" The ninja's frown deepened as he ran what happened in the last world in his mind. That was right, they were supposed to go there as well, but obviously something happened and they got separated.

" A perfect time for the white pork bun to screw up. Probably another one of that damned witch's plots." He huffed, frustrated with the situation they were in. The kids weren't here and yet they were able to talk? Nothing like Yama at all. Look for feathers? Insane, yet what else could they do until they met up with the kids again?

" What a nuisance..." The ninja took a deep breath before attempting to stand up on his shaky legs. A few good wobbles and he was back to sitting. His frown deepened even more. For now it looked like he would have to sit here and rest before they could get a move on with their new plan of action.

A nod was given to that familiar name. Yes, that had been their goal. Retrieve Sakura's body, which had pleasantly landed in Celes. The mage hummed to Kurogane's rant. Maybe it was soemthing that he had done as well? The 'pork bun' wasn't all to blame. A half-smirk lifted the corner of his lips. "Perhaps." The witch was known for making some interesting plots.

Blue eye finally turned to the ninja in surprise. Was he crazy trying to stand now? Fai pressed a firm paw against the other's shoulder, giving his own scowl. "Just sit still."
