I just saw the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam 00....... The Gundam series has lost its soul. I probably won't bother watching any of the rest of 00. It just didn't capture me like the other Gundams did.
I really didn't think it was possible to go downhill from Gundam Seed Destiny. sweatdrop

Kuro Hishikami Matsu x Belive me BK its just gonna get worse all this day and ages kids want is big explosions and unrealistic giant ninja magic robots and stuff like that are what the younger generation like I haven't seen it yet, but from what I've heard it'll probably end up being like the next Turn-A; Half the population hates it, the other loves it. ...The Yaoi artist doing Character designs doesn't help... I think the art is fine. But you are kind of right about character design.. I didn't see any characters that had any soul or "character". Just a bunch of Kira Yamato fashion challenged emo boys that 14 year old girls might swoon over. WHERE THE HELL IS MY CHAR, MY GATO, MY ZECHS, MY TREIZE, MY FREAKING KEITH(lol @ clumsy zaku's). Also. What's up with these storylines? It's all about "War is terrible... We must defeat both sides and join forces with neither side." NO ONE WANTS A FREAKING ORB. IT MAKES IT CONFUSING WHEN THERE'S MORE THAN 2 SIDES. *deep breath*

EDIT:I've just watched 00's first ep, and I've gotta say, Celestial Beings are actually far less of a Clyne faction than I thought. Clyne faction didn't have the balls to attack people the way Celestial Beings do. Furthermore, I loved how even the characters were able to point out the irony of Celestial Being's existance this time around. I was getting sick of the hypocracy of SEED/SEEDestiny. Also, lack of stock footage/Excelent Haro Usage FTW.

would people please stop doing this? everybody always complains about every new gundam series that comes out, saying it's nothing like wing or the original. but you know what? 1. They are supposed to be different! you can't have the same thing over and over again or else you will have something like inuyasha. and 2. theres only 4 episodes out so far so shut it until you've seen the entire series. then feel free to judge it

In other words, IT SHOULD BE DIFFERENT! Meh~ Just be glad it's not anoth G Gundam. Or Gundam Seed. -_- Which reminds me, it seems that every four Alternate universes there's a crapverse. First it was G Gundam, then SEED. as such, 00 and the next to AUs should be pretty good. Also, it seems that 00's currently suffering from Turn-A syndrome...
