As posted in the rules, Godmoding is a horrible act when an RPer repeatedly takes actions that in effect make their character unbeatable. Further details will be presented if asked, but the main purpose of this board is to provide what may be the worst case of godmoding I've had the misfortune of seeing. Since there's no point in hiding the user's idenity, I'll just come out and say that the guilty party is [-PRIDE-]. Quote: A shocked expression came across Faye's face as Kin unleashed her full power upon her. The blasts of light, however; made it hard for Faye herself to see her opponent as well. Basically the risky technique was a double-edged sword. Kin's kick hit her side and sent her hurling in the air as some blood could be seen oozing through her mask. The next Taijutsu attack hit her right in the face and more blood could be seen. Now it really was coming through the mask. Screams of citizens could be heard. Out of the starry night sky the comet-like beams continued rocketing around in the sky. However, Kin's speed was fast now...it would considerably decrease now that her chakra was used up. "Geh...heh." Faye grunted in irritation. It was time to release a decent technique of hers to finish this...not her best but definitely one of the top 10. "Hoshi Bakuha," She murmured. After those very words a comet flew straight through the kunai that Kin went to stab her with. And then the gigantic, almost nuclear explosion occured. It covered a few 10 mile radius. Since Faye had such an incredible amount of chakra she could flicker farther then about 30 miles, which she did. "Boom." Faye hissed. Soon the lights stopped flashing as the battle would soon come to a close.... Smoke billowed into the now heated sky as Faye watched her masterpiece come into place. A rather cocky smirk could be seen through her mask as she watched on. "For a Genin she is quite good. However, she was no match for me." Faye said snidely. Then, with a swift Shunshin no Jutsu she appeared in front of Kin. "Didn't I tell you that revenge would be sought by me? I never leave a fight alone 'till it's truly finished." She said with her back turned to Kin. About an 1/8 of her chakra was depleted, and the Hoshi Bakuha takes up a considerable amount of chakra. "Train harder girl, and maybe one day you'll be able to own the name SkyBlaze respectively." Faye hissed. With that she walked off into the distance. ... -- Okay, let's take a look at what exactly is wrong with this post. First of all, the technique itself. A massive fireball shrieking from the sky that seems more appropriate being used by the final boss in some Final Fantasy game. This attack is beyond overly strong, since not even Naruto in his Kyuubi form or Sasuke with all his godmoder-ness have ever used an attack that literally covers MILES of land. Inescapable, unblockable, and damn-near impossible to survive. Even if his character is an S-rank criminal, this jutsu is far beyond S-rank, and may very well be into the S to the 43rd rank. Second, after such a powerful technique, [-PRIDE-] goes ahead and states that even when the attack takes up massive chakra, it only used one eighth of his character's chakra. This is just a huge no. PRIDE, if you're reading this, take note of these points and resolve to fix them. v.v I was a godmoder too. Pretty much every RPer is at the beginning. They eventually learn to incorperate restraint, and you can too.

Examples of further godmoding will be placed here to be made example of TO THE PUBLIC. -- Do not hesitate to inform us of a person who habitually godmodes or speak up when the other person is godmoding.

Asuka smirked at the little boy. The kunai barely slit her cheek but left a small mark, and little blood dripped out of the mark. "Humph, swift." she said. Her kunai kept coming, slowed down a bit, but it kept going. The kunai then struck into Raiden's neck and began slitting in. About 1/4 of the way.
Let me tell you whats wrong here. Moi-Wah SAID she had to godmod... unless the third party agrees to it, don't do it at all! It's not acceptable under any circumstances unless its planned out! Also, it Raiden's neck was really cut 1/4 of the way, would that not mean his head would be tilted hanging off to the side? Therefore dead? One of the rules in this guild is you CANNOT kill without a roleplayers permission... So don't, unless you have permission.
Godmodding isn't cool, neither is the person doing.

It seems we have several godmodders in this guild, and some that are almost-godmodders. Mara, you know; and Crnobog knows. If Rahab was a newbie, I would kick him for being so tough. ^^

If Rahab was a newbie, I would kick him for being so tough. ^^ I don't think we have several... I think we have one... I'm not saying I'm pissed with anyone, I'm just saying this game is getting old. Wow, ha-ha. Garsh, I don't want to sound like a tattle-taylor (sp?)! >< However, sorry Rahab, but you're a horrible godmodder. The way Mara talks of Birdy Main and her uber-awesome powers, well that represents you in a nutshell. To be fully and completly honest, if he were in an rping guild of mine and I saw some of those god awful posts he has displayed, I would ban him in a heart-beat. Sure, he's a nice guy, but he godmods sooooo much. Sorry, but it bugs me to no end. Sure, yes, Rahab you have your petty excuses, but they don't count for anything. They're just your everyday lie. Someone needs to handle this. Dx

How about starting with you, envious and pride... Come on, you and pride have been here what? A month if that? And you guys know more about the old Arashi than I do? Come on Envy, this is starting to get on my nerves. And you're a very nice person so I'd really hate to see this end with a fight.
When you use other accounts for the same RP, remember that your writing skills will show up when you type. Your emotes, your phrases, all of that sort of stuff. You three make profiles the exact same way, how am I not supposed to think this? And all three take other players chars into consideration when making profiles... This is just a tab bit strange don't you think?
I'm sorry to have to be the hard a** here, but it is now needed to be addressed. Again, I'm sorry.

...okay, rant over. Please do something about this horrible godmodding epidemic. -- Rahab is not a horrible godmoder, and is absolutely nessesary for the guild's survival. Not only is he an excellent rper, he's imaginative, thoughtful, and while he pisses me off sometimes with his antics, he has come up with many a good plot, and almost always follow through. He creates good villians, moves the plots along, and I can trust him with enforcing the rules that I've put in place. Now as for YOU, birdy, I'd appreciate you not calling the kettle black. --; As for you, Chocobo, please move this to the main board, so we don't clutter up this one.

Ok, this one is really lengthy, because I was in it. I'll try and crop to only the godmodding parts since they were unbelievably rediculus. This person also did not read my complete posts, mistaking Nanashi for a young girl and hitting on him; thinking Papa was a human being, and not acknowledging that they had preformed a combination jutsu. Chocobochaos ((Papa an Nanashi are both combined at the moment, they are fighting the frog as one entity))
He snickered inside as they opened the container and their tongue delicately picked up every one of the tranquilizers. They brought the blow gun to their mouth as they fired several of them his way.
“Ha, try and beat that!” The creature said, its rough voice echoing throughout their body.Kyriod In a flash Shino jumped out of the way ((Frogs have super strong legs^^)). "Poison burst Jutsu!" Shino shot bursts of Poison water at the creature, landing on the ground afterward. Chocobochaos The creature looked as the frog evaded each attack, it cursed as it thought deeper into the plan. If I can’t hit him straight on, I’ll have to aim for where he’s going to go… Nanashi thought as he smiled wickedly. As the frog launched his poison burst, the creature avoided most, but at the last was hit critically by the burst.
“Crap!” It exclaimed as the poison burned into its arm. Quickly after the creature placed the wounded appendage in its mouth; biting it to drain the poisoned blood.
“Thanks,” It said weakly as it snickered removing the bleeding arm form its mouth, it threw a few signs as it prepared for a jutsu.
“Blood Shuriken” It exclaimed flinging the blood in the frogs direction as the droplets became shurikens. The intent was not to aim for the frog, but rather where he was going. Nanashi made an assumption that the frog would jog to one side, so he placed his bets with luck; hoping for a hit aiming at the correct side. Kyriod 'That thing is catching on' Shino thought to himself. "Here's somthnig you didnt see coming." The container on his back started to squirt out water and acted as a shield deflecting the shuriken. "Croak shot jutsu!" Shino launched a couple more rounds at the creature. Chocobochaos “Humph!” Nanashi said inside the creature. If that didn’t work, there’s only one thing left to try… They raced over to the frog and attempted to get on its back, clawing biting their way there. Though they knew the frog was fast, in short distances, so were they.
They zig-zaged through the bursts but still were hit by a couple, their tail and a hind leg bleeding profusely. Nanashi snickered, the creatures jaws bleeding as well It’s all I’ve got left, hope it works Kyriod The Container on Shino's back burst out all the water, creating a vortex aimed for the creature. Gama was still watching the fight, but grew worried. "I'll have to step in sometime soon or there not gonna last."Chocobochaos Nanashi smirked as he the frog had played right into his trap. They continued to hit the container on his back, fully willing to get absorbed by the vortex, because if this was planned right, he’d be done in an instant.
As they were pulled into the vortex, the creature’s blood continued to pour, more and more as it fell into the water. All looked lost until Nanashi made a hand sign, huffing fiercely and separating them with his jutsu. ((Now separated))
Papa was continued to be engulfed by the vortex, but Nanashi dropped onto the frog’s back. He snickered as he thought to himself Ha, check…
Nanashi began to summon another attack as the vortex was preoccupied with Papa. He snickered “Have you ever heard of the saying blood it thinker than water? Its true.” Nanashi poured the blood from his arm and summoned the blood shuriken again.
Nanashi chuckled inside as he awaited his final attack You’ll be finished soon…ha. he thought to himself. Kyriod Shino smirked. "Kid you havent gotten a chance against me, it's you who's fallen into my trap." Shino lashed his tounge out catching Nanashi's arm. "Croak shot Jutsu!" Chocobochaos Though he was caught and confined by the frogs tongue, he had however already summoned the shurikens. Inside the water vortex where all the blood had spilled rained forward several blood shurikens.
The shurikens spawned from the under side of the water shell aiming for the entirety of the frog’s body, their intent was to hit.
Nanashi thrusted around mad as he stayed confined by the frogs tongue; he laughed as he thought to himself If you hit me with that, you’ll hit your tongue too. Kyriod Shino continued with his attack while iceing over his body to protect him from the shuriken. Shino pulled in his tounge hitting Nanashi, though he hit his tounge there was little damage to it. "I wounder how human tastes." Shino continued to pull Nanashi in with his tounge, planning on eating him Chocobochaos As Shino loosened his grip Nanashi took this opportunity to grab his blow gun and a paralysis dart from his pouch. The burst hit him, making him shiver as he weakly aimed the dart at the frog’s tongue.
Nanashi couldn’t do much, but he could stop the frog from eating him. He blow the drat at his tongue to paralyze it and cease the action. I can’t…this isn’t right…what am I overlooking? He thought to himself as he tried to play this all in his mind. How? He thought up the rest quickly. Kyriod Shino jumped with all his power bursting through his own vortex slamming Papa into his container, and pulling Nanashi along with him. "Your finished!" Shino swung his tounge throwing Nanashi at a fataly speed towards the wall. Gama appeared behind Nanashi and caught her skidding accross the wall. "Are you ok?"Do I really need to explain what all is wrong here? First off, if you wanna talk with someone who is notorious for making exceptionally long posts, make sure you read them and don’t PM them that you don’t like how long they are, especially when YOU are the one to interact with them first! Second, you cannot act like you are invincible because you are playing an NPC. And lastly, when someone makes an attack on you with a multi shot how the hell can you dodge ever single one EVER SINGLE TIME?!?! I know my posts aren't really good there, my apologies, I do not have experience in RPing battles, but I have tried to learn very hard. So if I’m in the wrong here please tell me, I think I handled this well stating that I had only been in the guild for a week and had never played battles prior. I'm not mad, so please don't think I am, I am just bewildered by the sheer blunt godmodding that had happened here, that's all.

I'd say froggy-boy only flirted with the godmod line. Althought, the last move at the end where he threw you with his tongue wasn't possible, as you paralyzed it.

I would only like to comment on the attack comment earlier instituted against Pain. It may be overkill to add this, but the fact that apparently the technique required no hand seals was only to add onto this massive cheapness. Second, that the technique appeared from nowhere far quicker then the opponent could even comprehend. Again, just adding to cheapness.
And comparing that technique to the only two techniques which have done the second to that much dmage in the Anime. First of which is the second most devastating. Resulting from when Naruto had lost control to the Kyuubi, and was brought into the four tailed form. Taking several minutes logically to form the attack, to destroy an area of about two hundred feet.
Compared; nowhere close.
Second being the most devastating attack to occur; the one and only. Deidara's final masterpiece. By sacrifcing his entire body, over the course of what seemed like a ten minute period of time. His attack decimated everything within a ten kilometer radius.
Compared; .... Yeah, that's still nowhere close.
I don't know why I felt like adding my sight in on this, it was really not needed. I apologize if I cause any trouble which otherise could have been avoided. sweatdrop
