What are your favourite Hallowe'en movies? I don't just mean scary ones, I mean everything from old movies, or Disney films, to the latest film in theaters. Some of my old faithfuls: The Ghost and Mr.Chicken, staring Don Knotts The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949)

Sleepy Hollow was my fav version of Ichabod Crane, but I used to really like the Disney one when I was a kid too. xd
My brain is a bit too fried right now to remember much else of favourite list. D:

D: Ditto. I liked Sleepy Hollow. Aside from that, I'm not huge on scary movies. I'm sure there's a few out there that I liked and if some of them are mentioned I'll be all "Oh duh! Why couldn't I remember that one?! I love that one!" but right now...nothing coming to mind. sad

I don't know what it's called, but there's this one little kid's movie that I ALWAYS think of when I think halloween movies.
There's this girl - she has a younger sister, a brother and a mother. And her Grandmother and mother are witches.
But the mother never told the daughter - and the father's a mortal.
And there's something about this trinket and activating it, and putting it in a pumpkin?
rofl I haven't seen it in YEARS, but that's the general gist. 3nodding

I don't know what movie you're talking about, but you totally reminded me of "Hocus Pocus"! That was a classic movie for me. And... ERNEST SCARED STUPID! I watched that movie probably 10 times or more. At first it scared me, all those freaky gnomes things turning kids into wooden dolls, but then I loved it. xd Mostly that the monsters could be destroyed with my favourite drink - milk! hahaha.

I was thinking of Hocus Pocus too with the first word there "a younger sister and a brother" but alas. Hocus Pocus was on tv a few days ago 3nodding 3nodding I love Bette Milder's lips and teeth in that film, she is such a hilarious actor. I like Angelica Huston in Roald Dahl's The Witches. I think I need to see Ernest Scared Stupid... gnomes are awesome! I have one that sits on top of my tv. G-Nome Geborknic He is my seductive lawn gnome, because of his "come hither" pose. actually I have a picture of him in photobucket... lemme find it.

xd I was totally thinking Ernest Scared Stupid also. That movie used to scare the crap out of me, seriously. I hated those trolls 'cause I hate dolls and anything doll-like mad
Other than that.... The Cowboy Bebop Movie? Anyone?

SAW 4 comes out on the 26th or so. Have you guys followed the series? I'm not really sure how they are going to do a fourth without the two main dudes, but I have a feeling this could end up like Friday the 13th, or Halloween. Anything more than 3...hmmm. I think I want to see it anyways though. And here's a cute video I found on youtube: Wanna buy a ghost? heart

I haven't seen Halloween Town. Is it a scary film or more a children's film?
I just bought Evil Dead and Evil Dead II with the original cover pictures yesterday. I was overly pleased with myself. whee
