The morning exercises. I'm not sure if that's exactly what it's called. I was wondering if any one knew how to do it? Is there something specific?
I ask because I'm geting older and with work and stuff don't have much time to exercise. So I thought I'd try Radio Taiso.

Ooh yeah, I remember seeing old people in the neighborhood (a term I use loosely, it was a huge "neighborhood") doing Radio Taiso in the morning while I was in Japan (Tokyo -> Hanakoganei). It's a pretty cool concept, wouldn't be bad to do in the mornings around here in the States if you ask me.

Great video. I love the second half done in sped-up chipmunk voices.

Here is the "official" video. My teacher has the soundtrack, thus I have it on my ipod, but I don't think it's legal for me to share it with you. =/

I think this kind of thing says a lot about Japanese culture- they after each other, and this isn't some sort of spin- off thing that everyone watches and laughs- people actually do it in the morning. I don't think you'd catch many people around here doing that two times a day. Here bieng England.
