Coming down from the cabin, down through the thickets of the forest, came Jack Spicer. Dusk was pretty much coming, his favorite time of day, and he didn't obviously want it to be ruined by being in the cabin.
Well, he might come back to it..just not at this time. Eh. Whatever, it was his decision, and he was taking it. His gloves in his mouth, he let his paws touch the cool grass. A soft sigh escaped his maw, and he felt at ease. Even the evil Heylin Witch, Wuya was at peace right now. Nothing had gotten her angered today, nothing seemed to get going wrong with her..it was just total relaxation for her and him. She padded along beside him, showing a small smirk on her face.

Edgeworth heaved a sigh, giving a small shake of his head as he padded towards the direction of his home. He had been relieved of his babysitting duties when Kalliope, the young Angelic kit, had suddenly paid a visit and offered to watch over Kitsumi for him. He had taken her offer gratefully, but found himself starting to return hours earlier than he had originally planned to. It wasn't like him to allow someone else to take over his job for him - especially not someone who was not only younger than he was, but younger than the babysitting charge.
Still, he really was grateful for Kalliope's thoughtfulness. It wasn't often that he was allowed freedom, and even a few minutes of time to himself was nice. If anything, as a Kitsusagi, he was given more responsibilities than he had when he was a human, and a prosecutor.
Not to mention having no thumbs sucked.
Edgeworth sped up his pace to him home, taking long strides. The faster he got there, the faster he could help Kalliope handle Kitsumi. With this thought in mind, he grew completely unaware of a sigh that came nearby, and the sound of footsteps.

Being on the island has toughened the wimp up a bit. But, he was still the same Jack Spicer as before. Be it be that he was used to being on not only four paws, but, barely able to use his technologies as he wants to, but..stuck with Wuya.
Ugh. Well, he was happy since he at least knew one of his old pals were here.. Yep..Obviously he did get tired of having his guardian at his side 24/7, but..it was the price to pay to have a Wu detector at his side.
Excluding all of those things, he was relatively happy, making the basement of the home he shared with all of the odd characters in the home. Heh..A chuckle escaped his lips, without himself noticing it. How long has it been since he'd actually been able to accomplish building a successful robot? ...Actually..maybe once..but, it broke afterwards.
Seriously, he was off. His ears twitched, picking up the sounds of what seemed to be...footsteps? Maybe another one was close..heh, only one way to find out..
The hag quietly climbed up Jack's leg, sitting on his back, where she mostly stayed. Yawn...today was actually becoming boring to her...

Ears pulling back, Edgeworth muttered to himself, arguing with himself as to whether he should really return back home, or wait until later. Kalliope -had- offered to babysit Kitsumi for a few hours...but on the other hand, Kalliope was just a kit herself! ...A responsible kit though...but a kit nonetheless!
The arguing was doing nothing for him - aside from making her look stupid, that is. He halted as he neared the house, sitting down on the ground. He rarely ever got any time to himself - either he had to watch over Kitsumi, or he had company with him. This was a good opportunity just to take a quiet stroll around...Surely a few more moments wouldn't hurt?
Rising from his spot, he gave a little stretch before glancing around. 'Just a short walk,' He told himself, 'And then I'll return home and give Kalliope a break.'

Was this a...Another house ey? Hmm...Jack reviewed the new sight in his head. "Hmm..Wuya..think they'd have something worthwhile in there..?" he asked his partner in crime, grinning as he stopped almost in plane view.
"...Common thievery..? We're not simpletons Jack...", Wuya argued with him, snorting, "Besides, there's someone out there..", she added, pointing in Edgeworth's direction.
"...Suit? Dude..I know another guy in a suit...", he blinked, then thought it over...would he flip like the other guy he knows..or...
....
He just stood there, in mid step, reviewing all of the options.
