Ah, the scenery. Such a wonderful sight to behold, and such a welcome change from the house she lived in with the others, where she had been more or less stuck for the past week or so, keeping the peace, as Xianthe had made herself known as the newest member of the household.

And how had that occurred, anyways? To the best of the Luck's memory, all she could recall was Tuuli triumphantly declaring something about defeating the evil witch, and imprisoning her; she couldn't really think that the illusionist was a witch, could she?

No, wait, she could; Tuuli had an overactive imagination like that.

Rolling her golden-colored jade ball with her, the Luck made her way down the usual path leading from the house, starting off on the same route as always. It had been awhile since Shreya had gone out, so the familiar was, to her, the safest at first, but, soon enough, the red and gold Luck deviated from her regular path, deciding to blaze a trail of her own today.

At the very least, the change in directions would throw Tuuli off her scent, should the perma-kit decide to try following.

User Image Cody was rolling around absentmindedly in the grass, balancing her jade ball in her four paws, carefully tossing it up and down in the air. She was bored. So very bored. There weren't exactly any kits she knew, so she'd mostly just been wandering around recently, trying to amuse herself. And juggling her orb wasn't exactly the most entertaining of things.

Cody sighed to herself, letting the large orb gently roll off her feet onto the grass beside her. She rolled herself over in the meantime, laying her chin on her paws, her tails curling protectively around the jade ball, while her gray eyes looked around for something even remotely interesting.

Perhaps it was a good thing, in a way, that Cody didn't really know any other Kitsu out there. Saved her in the long run, anyways, from any mental trauma that would come about, especially if she ever encountered Tuuli, which was bound to happen eventually- Nobody ever really got away from the perma-kit, if she found them. No, they would all be roped into her game one way or another, even without their consent. It was how Saix was the evil king (or dragon; Tuuli claimed the Luna Diviner was a master of disguise), Xianthe the evil witch, and Luis the good king.

Er...and all the numerous knights and ladies and stuff.

Getting back to the topic at hand, the red and gold Luck continued on her semi-merry way, lost in thought as always, before coming across an unfamiliar Luck. Granted, she hadn't met too many of her kind, preferring solitude to none else, especially considering there were plenty 'kitsu-kind' back home to deal with, but still, it was a Luck, and one she hadn't seen before.

Coming up from behind Cody, Shreya stood, slightly imposing and overall silent, before speaking up.

"Greetings to you," she said, "Enjoying the weather?"

Cody heard the sound of approaching footsteps, but didn't pay it any mind. Creatures and kits were constantly wandering around, so she ignored it. At least, she ignored it till she heard the paws stop near her, and a female voice ask her about the weather.

Lifting her head up, she craned her neck backwards to look at the Luck, feeling too lazy to stand up. She was all warmly colored, definately standing out against the greens and browns of the trees. The Luck let a friendly enough smile come onto her face, and shrugged as well as a four-legged creature laying down possibly could.

"Hullo." Cody replied, finally pushing herself up, so she was sitting instead and on a closer-to-eye level with the other Luck. "Mm-hm, it's too nice to stay inside a cave or den. Not much else to do, though." She said mournfully, her ears drooping slightly as the thoughts of her boredom returned.

"A cave or den?"

That had caught Shreya's attention; most Kitsu she had met thusfar lived in homes, usually with their human owner (or perhaps non-human? Faye owned three perma-kits, herself), so the idea of one of her kind living elsewhere, well, intrigued her, though not in the 'she must be a relation to the evil dragon!' way.

"Interesting. So I take it you live on your own, then?" Shreya asked, "I envy you, in that case."

"In regards to nothing to do, though," the Luck continued, "Perhaps if you would accompany me on my walk, I can introduce you to some others."

Cody nodded, shrugging again in response to the question. "I don't live with a human, though I think I have one. Or I belong to one. I havn't met one that's claimed me, though I'm sure there's one somewhere." She said, giving a lopsided grin.

"It can be pretty boring, though." The Luck admitted, and the offer of accompainment(sp?) made her ears perk up. "Really? I'd like that." She grinned, standing on all fours, her bushy tails starting to wag behind her at the idea of actually meeting other kits.

She nodded in understanding, having never experienced such herself, but still, understanding nonetheless. "I've lived in my home since hatching," Shreya remarked, "So I can only imagine what it's like to live alone."

The red and gold Luck glanced skyward briefly, watching a duck fly overhead, before turning her focus back to Cody. "Then please, feel free to follow," she told the other, and began to head off again.

Cody stood up slowly, trotting after Shreya while carefully nosing her jade ball in front of her, rolling it along but still capable of speaking.

"So how many are in your house?" She asked curiously; she wasn't sure how she would be with meeting a group, just going by her definate lack of social expirience.

"Ten or so, to be technical," Shreya began, giving her ball a nudge so that it would roll on without her, "Though generally, the number of those actually residing in it at any given time is less."

It did seem that way, anyways, when the Luck thought about how everyone usually had their own agenda to attend to. Sunday and Morie were usually the only ones who ever really stayed put, with the former being too frightened, usually, of the outside world to set out, and the latter fairly much being content to make herself at home in the kitchen sink. Shreya herself tended to stay at home at times, but the red and gold female was far too restless to not want to head out and watch the world go about with things.

"If that's too large of a number, I can arrange for individual meetings," she offered.
