I was thinking that. I don't think its out into the public domain yet, they are still selling the DVD afterall. sweatdrop

I've actually been thinking about emailing the theater in my city, which happens to show obscure and cult films, about Phantom of the Paradise. It would be awesome to be able to see it on a theater screen, I think, and it's worth a shot.

@ Kira: They have the movie on my library's video on demand program, which lets you watch a bunch of videos for free.

I don't know if that means it is in public domain though.

@ Thorn: That's a good idea...I wonder if I could get the Castro Theatre in SF to show it.
