Anyone here have MySims? I hear it's like Animal Crossing, so a nice game until AC for the Wii comes out :] Is it fun? =D

My mom actually bought it for herself on the DS and couldn't find her DS, so she gave it to me. xd
I've been playing it, and it's almost exactly like AC. The differences are mainly that it revolves around building up the town to call in premade characters, and you play a lot of mini-games.
In some ways, it lacks the freedom of AC. You can't really grow things, but there are plants you can put in preselected areas around the main town.
I also managed to play My Sims on the Wii, thanks to my niece. It's ok. There's no money involved. Instead it completely revolves around building things. Everything you do is to get "essances" which help you color and decorate objects you build up.
On the plus side, you can redecorate or re-do everyone's house in the neighborhood. You can make sims move into another house you've made for them. And they gift you with more blueprints the more you design for them so you can make your own furniture for your house.
Oddly, the inside of the houses is always the same, no matter how silly you make the outside.

Please don't tell me if you want to do something they don't want to do... They don't throw an absolute fit and go "I'm too depressed to study!" ._. Can I control my sim though? That's what I was wondering.

Well, it's not really sims. xd
Yes, you control the character. No needs to be fulfilled. You just wander around helping other people in the town.

Are they still having issues keeping Wiis in stock? It's been almost a year, hasn't it? Dang, I'd thought they'd manage to fix those issues.

cool.. the comparisons to AC made me get it. It's fun so far, cute!! haven't had that much time to play it but it does remind me of AC. I like how the character's that cute style instead of the typical Sim, and I like how it doesn't have needs, those were always annoying.. I never really got into Sim games other than watching other people play for like five minutes =P
I heard the stores here have Wiis pretty often.. did you try calling around? Hopefully you'll find one! ;]

@Banana-nana: Wii's are still nearly impossible to find unless you find out what days the store recieves its shipment and show up during its early open hours.
I visited eight different stores over a span of several weeks (that's not counting revisits a few days later) and still didn't manage to snag a Wii until I found someone selling one on Amazon.

Me and a friend were talking about that last night. We kept seeing "win a Wii!" as w e were shopping last night and we figured all the Wiis were bought up by companies wanting to hold a contest... wait, that sounds familiar
