Well, this was it. The full moon was tonight.
Ayako's white ringed tails swished nervously. She had brought the kits to Saix's home, for, well, he held some responsibility in this matter too! But also, back at home, Remus was about to go through his transformation. If anything happened to one of the kits, she didn't want to worry her family further. She herself was uptight enough already.
Turquoise eyes turned to look at the three kits she curled around and she started. "Xanul?" Where was he?
Somehow, Xanul had sneaked out of the house while everyone wasn't looking.
There was a sudden longing within him to go out. But it wasn't one of his usual adventures. It was different. The dark haired kit glanced up at the sky. What was he waiting for? Exactly what, he didn't know, but he sat and watched the sunset. Soon. Something in him stirred faintly.
Very soon.

Something wasn't right. Xelon didn't know where he got that notion from, but he knew it was true. He snuggled closer to his mother, a small frown forming on his face.
Xanul had slipped away quietly a short while ago. He had watched from half-closed eyes, feigning sleep. Yet he hadn't stopped his brother. Why? The kit blinked slowly at the spot his brother had occupied. It seemed like something had told him to stay silent, to let Xanul leave. It was the most rational thing to do at the time, or so he had thought.
And again, where was he getting these ideas from? Xelon furrowed his brow. It was as if he knew... but didn't.

Swax had paid no mind to her brother when he had made his exit, having instead found it suitable to make sure the bow on her tail was tied properly, as to not let it come off, but also looking rather nice. This was a task that required all the girl's focus, but she had succeeded and with such beamed proudly to herself, batting down a piece of fur on her chest that curled up in an awkward manner, before bouncing away to go and sit with Xelon at their mother's side, silent through the entire matter.
She looked up at Ayako as she seemed to look for their brother, at least, verbally, that's what she could assume she was doing, before Swax looked to Xelon, doing a little 'mousey' effect with her nose, then nipping lightly at his ear, attempting to initiate -some- play, before bouncing away again, giggling joyfully, though it was soundless.
Swax was quite the little mime afterall, since she'd discovered she had 'silent moments' when her voice went away.

"WHEEYOUCAN'TCATCHME!"
Saix's ears flattened as he irritable paced to and fro in front of the door to his home. Behind him, Kitsumi was...well, being Kitsumi. She leapt over the couches and other obstacles in the house, ignoring the protests of Kalliope, who darted after her. Saix was trying his best to ignore the racket.
Though, to be honest, it completely failed.
The Nobody looked over his shoulder at the two females - the one who was causing the trouble, and the panicked one who was trying to prevent the trouble. His gaze followed them as they made their way back and forth along the room. Finally, he stepped in. The moment Kitsumi made her way around again, he held out a paw, cuffing her lightly.
"That's enough," He muttered, his voice a low growl, "I have to deal with the fact Ayako and -her- kits are coming tonight. I don't want to have to deal with you at the same time."

Turquoise eyes darted around the room frantically. Xanul couldn't have went far...but this was Xanul she was talking about, after all. Her youngest kit, who seemed to have boundless energy. Furrowing her brows nervously, the kitsu got up, not before nuzzling both of her other children.
"I'm going to find Xanul. You two stay here, okay?" Ayako started to pad out to the door, and then realised that a loud racket was going on. A smile twitched at the corners of her mouth. It must be Kitsumi again.
"Have any of you seen Xanul? He's missing." Ayako announced loudly and calmly, yet inside, her nerves were acting up. Why did he have to go out, of all days, on this night alone?
Meanwhile, the little kit was oblivious to what was happening back at his father's house. The sky was growing dark, almost matching the colour of his tails. But what, he wondered briefly, was he waiting for?
Well, he would soon know.

Xelon snapped out of his reverie as he felt an unexpected n** at his ear. He twitched it instinctively before scrambling onto his feet, quickly turning his head towards the direction the n** had come from. The kit stared blankly for a moment before he realized the obvious culprit was Swax, judging from her giggling form.
The corners of his mouth twitched, and he made to hop after his sister, but his mother's nuzzling caused him to stop and turn his head back curiously. It was then that he remembered the matter of Xanul's disappearance, and he frowned once more.
Xelon bobbed his head in acknowledgment to his mother's words, glancing uneasily at his father's house, where loud voices could be heard. Was it always like this over there?

Swax watched obediently as her mother gave her and her brother a sort of soft request, eyes sparkling with a moment of obedience before her body trembled with laughter upon returning to play with Xelon. Oh, now -why- did all the fun have to be ruined by -that- one's disappearance?! The silver-haired kitsu shook her head triumphantly for a moment, before again fleeing off a few feet, finding whatever she could, presumably a piece of furniture, to hide underneath, her tails sticking out from the edge to give away her oh-so lovely of a hiding place.
Indeed, it was difficult to be serious when all of life was so.. so.. so -SIMPLE- to her! (( I'm so lame I can't make a big post emo ))

Saix's gaze flickered to the door as Ayako spoke. And the first words out of her mouth, was questioning the whereabouts of one of her kits. Snorting, the male rose both brows. "Lost him, have you? I wouldn't be particulary worried. He'll return on his own eventually."
Having skidded to a stop, Kitsumi's ears pulled back as she cocked her head to the side, Kalliope behind her. "One of your kits went missing, Ayako?" For a moment, a deep frown was on her face as she looked at Kalliope. Then, without warning, she perked up again. "I'LL GO LOOK FOR HIM!" Without waiting for a response, the Kitsusagi left to begin her search. Before she could make it very far, however, Kitsumi stumbled over something - or something - that stuck out from beneath the couch.
Yelping loudly, she fell to the ground. While Kalliope drifted towards her, worried, Saix completely ignored the female.

Ayako glared at Saix and flicked her tails in annoyance. "It's the full moon tonight." She said pointedly, jabbing a paw towards the window as turquoise eyes flickered towards to check the night sky. She started towards the door, panic rising in her. "You know something could go wrong."
At the thud, Ayako whirled around, the worry evident in her eyes. "Kitsumi, Swax, are you alright?" The petite kitsu was torn in between rushing towards them to make sure they were both okay, and going out immediately to look for Xanul.
(:BB We still love you pach. *smacks both* Your replies make SENSE. D< )
