You watch a whole season within a weekend
...you read articles about alleged criminal activity by Navy personnel and look for a reference to NCIS
...you really ask what would Gibbs do?
...just looking at your NCIS DVD collection makes your day better
...you explain to friends/family the difference between NCIS and CSI
...you headslap random strangers hoping one will say "On it boss!"
.....when you stay up until 2am watching the DVDs when you have to be up at 6am.
,,,you slam your chair when Gibbs slams the table during the opening credits.
...you can eat during the show without regard to the "gross" scenes
You search nearly dayly, in which country the last season will get released as DVD box and pre-order it immediatly when finally found, no matter from where / the costs of postage..., even when have recorded all episodes, in the hope for some little extras like some audio commentaries...
You listen for a Gibbs rule then rush to the board to see if it's listed already, which of course it always is.
You wish you were called Special Agent Tony DiNozzo

When you can relate nearly everything in life to NCIS
When you quote lines from episodes daily and have 2 word documents, one 20 pages and the other 17 (not complete yet) of quotes.
When you greet your friends with Shalom and say Semper Fi to friends and strangers.
When you Gibbs-slap your friends.
When you've nicknamed your friends after NCIS characters. (Not me, my friend) I have nicknamed my cat Tom, Tommy after Tony's character in Deep Six. Also I call him Probie.
When you've taped all of season 4 that you've seen and plan to tape the whole lot, and then buy the DVD as soon as it comes out in the country you live in.
when you head slap your friends and tell them to get on and do work.
When you actually join NCIS and become a medical examiner.
When you randomly come out with Dr ducky Mallard style qoutes and stories!
When you still cry about what happened to Kate!( although that is still such a sad occurence she was a great charcter!).
When you cry or get extited about cars like Tony.
When you can quote from all or most of the episodes.
When you qoute Ducky by saying my all time favourite Ducky line-"He's not a vic hes a victim...where did you learn crime scene procedure watching Kojack reruns. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
when you spend days and days writing your own ep.
-when you have the ncis ringtone and every time you hear it, it makes you smile
- when you live in Australia put order an ncis jumper and t-shirt and hat over the net.
- when you miss kate so much you decide to write a movie and cast her as a lead role.
- when you are talking to your friend and you always say like in ncis this happened........
- when you are home sick from work and you watch ncis all day ( no breaks ofcourse)
When you record the NCIS theme tune on your phone and make it your ringtone
When you spend hours and hours watching NCIS Youtube videos
When you go out and buy the Season 3 DVD the day it comes out and watch several episodes when you're supposed to be revising for exams.
When you make up episodes in your head and characters that could be in the show.
When you stay up till 1 am to watch the last part of the NCIS season 4 marathon on TV so you can tape some of the episodes you didn't tape last time even though you have an exam the next day.
When you constantly reference NCIS in your daily life. For example, the other day my friend said drop it to someone on her mobile. Then I said, or drip it. A reference to Season 3's Hiatus where Ziva tells Ducky to drip it, and he says do you mean drop it or zip it?
You know you're addicted when you can watch a scene as another character says something in front of Gibbs, and YOU GIVE GIBBS' answer at EXACTLY the same time Gibb's says it.
When you've left the house and the last thing you think about is not whether you locked the front door and turned off the stove, but whether you've got the TV set to tape NCIS that night!
You're looking at your other tv channels to see if anyone's picked up re-runs of NCIS yet.
One of your largest wishes is to get in touch with Don Bellasario and beg him not to bump off anymore principle characters.
You fear hearing the words...someone else is leaving the show...or worse yet, NCIS WON'T be returning for another season!!! (Typing that made me nervous.)
You're terrified and pray that none of the cast members getting sick or pregnant and have to play the oh so obvious game of "Hide the actresses stomach".
When your most interesting topic of conversation with your boss (who is equally addicted to NCIS) on the Wednesday following a new episode the night before, is analyzing it and appreciating its finer qualities!
When you are supposed to be job-hunting on the Internet with no income, still cannot help checking up this site
you've visited all the fan sites and check up on different forums hourly.
you do not pick up your phone for any reason during the show
you go to sleep thinking of "what if this happened" or different theories of what really happened
you feel like your going to go crazy waiting for September 25!!
..........instead of writing you own initials you write NCIS
...you decide Abby is your ideal woman (or whichever other character you prefer).
...you dress up as Abby for Halloween, even though you're a guy...!
.... when you use Gibbs as nickname on every forum and website u register at razz
When you have all the episodes and you cant decide which one to watch anymore because you've seen them all so many times.
When you know EXCACTLY how long to fast forward over the intro, not by counting or anything but just your gut wink
...you wish that just once, when you tell your boss you're sorry and it won't happen again, he'd calmly say "I know".
