I just got the Avatar magazine that Nick put out and there is a tiny little snippet that says:

""Will Kitara end up with Aang, Zuko or neither? The answer is not neither. She will end up with one or the other" Place your bets, Kataang fans and Zutara supporters! Meanwhille, Mai and Zuko will become involved..."

YAY!

It makes me happy to think that Zutara still lives, but the fact that Zuko is with Mei puts a damper on it.
Oh well. :3

Thought I'd share.

I like to laugh at Zutara fans.
I started this big 10 page debate a while back about Zutara vs. Kataang.
I gotta say, it was pretty sad. Zutara fans were REALLY clawing for just about anything, like this:
"Well in the episode where he takes Katara's necklace he looks off into the sunset and you see a longing look in his face, and everyone knows that he must have been thinking of Katara because you dont look like that unless youre thinking of someone you like"

Pretty much everything that Zutara shippers had was all s**t like "Zuko must have been thinking..." which is a load because without the hard evidence that Kataang has behind it all Zutarians have is what was not said, but what they think the character was thinking at the time. Not to mention the only real meeting they have ever had was in that damn cave, which ended badly, if you remember.

Probably that magazine (which caters to rabid fangirls) was just putting it on there for the rabid Zutara fan girls out there.

I could care less, really, but if anyone I hope it's Aang in the end. He's the one who REALLY covets Katara above all else, they have a strong connection. Unrequited love it may be, they still have more of a connection than Katara and Zuko. Who are exact opposites in every respect... dont be a smart a** and say "opposites attract", please.

Though I am quite happy to read this thread, as now Zutarians have just one last hope to go on for. Which makes everybody happy.

You know, as much as I think that Zuko and Katara would make a cute pair-- I do hope that Aang does gets her in the end- because as you said right, he love's her more than anything.

The magazine was not catered to fan girls- but was a magazine for the 3rd season, and had a few comics in it that described the events- like how the gang ending up on the fire nation's ship- in more detail.

*shrug* It was just something I though I'd share.....

Hah.

As little as I want to admit it, that magazine caters completely to the fandom. It also seems to prove the canonity of Kataang, in my opinion.

Ah, whatever. I will always be a Zutara shipper, no matter what the canon says. I don't ship it for the canonity. It does, however, make for good practice in debate skills to be able to develop logical, well presented out arguments with very little evidence and still make them sound plausible. I am, of course, referring to the Zutara shippers with heads on their shoulders. Hell, I laugh at Zutara shippers when they're being retarded, too. Pff.

Most of the literate Zutarians in this guild don't ship Zutara because they believe it will become canon; they ship it because they either dislike the idea of Kataang or they like the idea of the love/hate relationship that Zuko and Katara could have. It makes for a cute, romantic story (with only a pinch of angst).

A lot of Zutara shippers are probably just hopeless romantics at heart, and Zutara has the potential for an amazing romance story.

*nods head in agreement* I'll back you up with these reasonings.

Yes, that is good reasoning. However, I prefer the Katara/Aang shipping. I just can't see Katara and Zuko really having a "good" relationship. Katara also seemed to be jealous (please excuse me if I spelled that wrong) on the most recent episode, The Headband, when Aang danced with another girl. They seem to be more likely to get together in the future. Also, they are very close and similar; both of them are very kind at heart. But Zutara fans, if she winds up with Zuko, then that would really shock me. So let the best pairing be. biggrin

Nicely done. I agree with all of this.
(I haven't seen the second episode yet but from what I've heard about the dancing...)
I'm still going to support Zutara no matter what. To me it's just much more interesting than Kataang.

In the end I keep thinkng the creators will pull a Sorato on us. (Sorato = Sora x Yamato [Matt] from Digimon)

/agree with everyone, the mag is catering to the fans, and there are a whole lotta Kataangers and Zutarians.

I'm still sticking with my ships 'til the very end, and I mean the VERY end, when the credits are rolling on the final episode.
(My ships: Tokka, Maiko, Smellershot, and don't care about the rest as long as my ships aren't interfered with.)
