Friendship lasts through the years and helps us grow... Those MetName | Owner | Pokemon | Thoughts Finrir | Orpheus Salon | Eevee | Corbin didn't really like her at first since she was an annoying girl. However, after climbing trees with her, he sees her as very brave and someone to be respected. He's not too sure if he wants to meet her again or not.

Requirements:
Toddler
Growth Requirements:
- x1 Homeschooling session. You as the parent are at home teaching your child how to write their name, read small words, count to ten, or most of their alphabet. This is a self-rp session between your two characters. - x3 Playdates. Your child should be socialized with other children from their future school. It’s your job as the parent to arrange playdates with other parents and their children. Any setting is fine- just so long as your child has the chance to socialize. - x3 Months. Three months time as a toddler to grow. - Lv. 8+ This is easy since every playdate is already worth 1 level. Any extra levels are optional but will count towards evolution during their next growth if you manage that many.
Child:
Growth Requirements:
- x2 Homeschooling sessions. You as the parent are at home teaching your child how to read, write, and do basic math. The homeschooling can be written journals by the student (at least 3), or two self-role plays of interaction between the parent and the child. - x6 Playdates. Your child's old enough to be meeting some friends in his or her classes. Feel free to allow them to interact after school, perhaps study sessions, or sparring with their new-found abilities. It's important for them to learn as much about the other children as possible. - x3 Months. Three months time as a child to grow. - Lv. 14+ This is easy since every playdate is already worth 1 level. Any extra levels are optional but will count towards evolution during their next growth if you manage that many. - x2 Classroom Classes. The student must attend one attack and one defense class at this stage
Tween:
Growth Requirements:
- x2 Home schooling Sessions The homeschooling can be written journals by the student (at least 3), or two self-role plays of interaction between the parent and the child. - x8 Playdates. Your child's old enough to be meeting some friends in his or her classes. Feel free to allow them to interact after school, perhaps study sessions, or sparring with their new-found abilities. It's important for them to learn as much about the other children as possible. - x4 Months. Four months time as a tween to grow. - Lv. 20+ This is easy since every playdate is already worth 1 level. Any extra levels are optional but will count towards evolution during their next growth if you manage that many. - x 3 Campus Classes. Battle-types, Intermediate attack, and intermediate defense classes are required.
Teenager:
Growth Requirements:
- x4 Home schooling Sessions The homeschooling can be written journals by the student (at least 3), or two self-role plays of interaction between the parent and the child. - x10 “Hang-outs“. At this age they could be doing anything. Hanging out at the mall, learning how to drive, causing trouble way too late at night, dating- you name it. - x6 Months. Six months time as a teen-ager to grow. - Lv. 36+ Pretty reasonable. Most three-stage poke‘mon will evolve around 32-36ish. Complete all playdates, take part in a few battles or just do a few extra playdates instead. It seems like a lot but it really isn’t. - x 6 Campus Classes. Classes to be announced.

Taking You Home
Greg didn't know what processed him to do it. Maybe it was the fact he wanted to make a difference or his unnatural love of kids. It might haven even been an attempt to prove to himself that he could do it. Raise a child and show the world it wasn't so hard.
The psychiatrist put out his cigarette and walked into the adoption center. Morphs, huh? Even they needed someone to care for. He walked up to the receptionist's desk and smiled. "Hey, name's Greg, I'm here for my interview?"
"Third door on the left." She said without missing a beat and continued to type away at her computer.
He blinked then followed her directions. He knocked then slowly opened the door and peered inside. A man greeted him and ushered him inside. "Gregory Dias, right?"
"Yea, I'm here to adopt a little kid." He sat down in one of the chairs and the interview began. Most of it was pretty normal stuff he'd been ready for. Things like: Income? Single or Dating? View on discipline. The works. When it ended the man leaned back and tapped his finger tips together.
"We may have a child here that requires your profession?"
Greg shifted forward and frowned. "Why? Is he crazy or something?"
"No, he's just... well, he has behavior problems."
"Ah..."
The man stood and walked to the door. "Care to meet him?" Without waiting for an answer he disappeared then came back with a boy. The boy twitched his ears and glared up at the man who brought him in. That firey gaze landed on Greg and seemed to lighten. Was someone really here for him?
"Hey kid..." Greg smiled, "What's your name?"
The Zangoose eyed him carefully, searching for any tricks. Once he deemed the man had no bad intentions he gave a rough shrug. 'Corbin. What's yours?"
"Gregory... How would you like to blow this joint?"
He received a grin. "Sounds good to me."
The man who introduced them just looked back and forth in light shock. Apparently this wasn't how the kid had reacted to the other candidates. He cleared his throat and sat down at his desk pulling up the paperwork. "So I'll uh, just need you to sign here and here." He muttered while pointing at the places.
Greg shot the kid another well meaning smile and took out a pen, signing his life away to taking care of the kid.

Counting the Days
Gregory grimaced and shifted uncomfortably, trying to keep his eyes trained on his book. He just wasn't gonna give up. He peered over over his book nervously and caught sight of intense red. The man jerked his head back down and sighed. Corbin just wasn't going to stop. "What?" He finally asked putting the book down.
"What does it say?" He asked intently, eyes following the book.
"... uh, what?"
Corbin rolled his eyes. "What does it say?"
The man blinked a few times. Didn't he boy know how to read? One look at the way he was staring at the letters on the page ensured that he didn't. Guess that meant he had to teach the kid.
"Alright Corbin! This is the alphabet!" Gregory held up a large sheet of paper with each of the letters written. He received a blank stare in return. "Uhm... oh you need these to read! So first I'll teach you how to write them! This is 'A, B, C...' and he continued down the line.
"Now copy each one and remember the sound it makes! Once you can copy them all down correctly, I'll teach you how to read." Greg grinned enthusiastically. The Zangoose child glanced at the letters then back up at the man.
"Pen." He demanded holding out his hand. Greg quickly supplied it then twitched his lips in a smile as Corbin got straight to work.
"If you do good enough we might just have ice cream for dinner."
His ears shot up as he stared at his father, the tip of his tail twitching in consideration. "... Deal." With that he went at it. Two hours later there was ice cream for all.

Amazed
"What's that?" Corbin asked as he pointed to the television as his father flipped a channel.
"What was what?" He asked rather groggily.
"Go back." The zangoose demanded, flicked his tail, watching carefully as his father backtracked through the channels. "There!" He stood up and watched a man gracefully dancing. It looked like a cartoon but more eloquent, not that Corbin knew what that meant.
Greg blinked a few times and leaned forward. "Its called Ballet. Its a type of dance and its rather hard." He went to flip to a different station but stopped seeing Corbin's fascination. Aw, what could it hurt? He let the boy watch.
That night was a trip, in Greg's opinion. Corbin was doing his best to copy the moves he'd seen. He obviously liked the idea of dancing. Greg, who at this point was vaguely amused, figuring it was a simple phase, turned on a radio. Even though the music wasn't meant for this type of dancing, Corbin attempted it anyway. It was a mess of spinning and weird jumps that didn't go anywhere but the boy seemed happy.
It didn't end there. Corbin watched the series more interested in the dancing then he was anything else. In fact, he appeared uninterested if it was anything but the dancing. Greg, who was quite interested in his reaction, rented a video of ballerinas and put it in for the boy.
It was his worst mistake.

Dancing My Way into Your Heart
Gregory soon learned that the Zangoose had a fascination for dancing and music. If the Hybrid had the controller it was on a music station. He watched people dance but none seemed to interest him as much as the videos on ballerinas. He was getting better at copying the men on the television as he paid complete attention to as much detail as his young mind could process.
"Corbin..." Greg finally asked with his arms crossed, watching as the boy tugged his eyes away to look at his guardian briefly.
"What?"
Greg paused as the boy got impatient. "Well... I signed you up for real lessons. Just the basics..."
"You...did?" The boy asked, finally paying attention. His tail was going a mile a minute, his red eyes large and excited.
"Yup, start tomorrow. How about we get you a pair of tights?"
"Like Fakir's?!"
"Sure, why not?"
Corbin jumped up and tackled his father into a hug. "Thank you so much!" He half shouted, burying his face in Gregory's shirt.
The man paused then hugged him back with one arm, surprised by the sudden display. "No problem, kid... No problem."
