Along one of the rounded walls of the pumpkin café, you see a raised ledge, perhaps a little taller than waist-high, with several well-cushioned chairs that look capable of spinning about, should you be so inclined. The ledge is covered with clear glasses, in the shape of hallowed out pumpkins, obviously keeping with the theme of the night.
Along the back wall are various bottles of liquids- reds, greens, clears, and all other manner of colors and looks. Behind the bar, a young man, an Empyrean you may recognize, stands, dressed smartly in a pair of black slacks, a white button-up shirt, and a black vest, towel tossed haphazardly over his shoulder.
“Welcome,” he says warmly, a genuine smile upon his lips. “Something to wet your throat? I imagine being spooked in all the other rooms has got you parched.” He offers out a glass, his smile turning into a boyish grin. “Pick your poison, then. Sit down, enjoy yourself for a few minutes. The music is relaxing, isn't it? Of course, if your feet itch to wander, there are games and the like. Whatever your fancy.”

In another of the room, there is a small stage that has been set up. For the moment, it is empty ... but soon, two performers arrive ... A bit nervously, Emrys edged into the little cafe mock-up, glancing around at everything curiously. He hadn't been here before, having been spending most of the past few days practicing some songs with Biwa in one room or the other. He still wasn't completely confident about most of the pieces they had agreed on, but ... hopefully he wouldn't make a total fool out of himself. Instruments were clutched close in to his chest as the little blond made his way to a corner set up with a small stage. Setting the instruments down, he pulled a stool over and sat down to wait, picking up his lyre after a moment and kind of idly tuning it. In contrast, Biwa, who entered only a few minutes later, had only one instrument. She brought a large case into the room, bringing it over to where Emrys sat. Settling it down, she opened it, and pulled out a long, flat stringed instrument that looked somewhat like a very low table. She set it out on the floor, and plucked a few strings, listening to the exotic, twangy sound, and adjusting it accordingly. Not too bad. "Is..." she started, then cleared her throat, knowing she was speaking too softly. "Is the order of songs still the same?" She didn't, after all, want to start playing one thing and then have Emrys start playing another. Emrys glanced up when Biwa came in, offering a shy sort of smile. He stopped tuning his own instrument so she could hear hers better and nodded at the question. "I don't ... see any reason to change it." Twisting hands together a little, he glanced down, staring at where they rested in his lap. "I just hope we don't mess up..." he said quietly. Biwa reached out without thinking about it, lightly touching his clasped hands. "We'll be fine, if we trust our instruments. They know the music as well as we do." She smiled, sheepishly, and moved her hands back to the koto, strumming a few strings and singing softly, practicing. Emrys jumped just slightly at her touch, but looked up and smiled. "You're right ..." he said softly, forcing himself to relax and running hands along the smooth wood of the lyre. Then he set it down and began tuning the dulcimer next. He had done all of this before he even left his room ... but it was always a good idea to check. -------------------------- Throughout the time you are wandering through the café, the two take turns playing music - some solo pieces and a couple of duets they have practiced beforehand. Being mostly untrained, the music is sometimes slower than one might expect ... some notes fall sour ... but it's all in fun. And they're trying their best ... won't you listen? :: The Songs :: Biwa plays a traditional Koto........ As you pass through the cheery, pumpkin themed café, you notice a section that seems secluded from the rest of the cafe. Draped in gauzy fabrics that sway like mist, the entrance beckons you in, welcoming and mystical at the same time. Seeing movement within, you pad forward to see what lies within.
Upon brushing the filmy fabric to the side, your gaze falls upon a low table – simple and well worn. A single silver dagger rests to one side and a shallow bowl of water to the other. It smells like cinnamon, cloves, and fresh pumpkin, a pleasant scent that calms the atmosphere. Piles of pillows are scattered about the area and as you take a seat in one, two forms appear. Silvery and golden skin glow in the lantern light as they sit down behind the table professional and yet welcoming.
The golden one introduces himself with a nod of his head, “I am Aureus.”
“And I am Argentum. Pleased to meet you.” The pale blue phlegm finishes, smiling broadly.
“Have you come to get your fortune read?” They are the Echoes who follow the prophet’s path and they’ve decided to offer their services during this festival. “If so, please select a pumpkin from the pile and place it on the table.” He gestured towards the elegantly arrange stack of miniature pumpkins to the side.
“Then take the knife, cut the top out and spill the contents onto the table. Your fortune will be there.” Argentum finished with a nod. “Of course, if that does not interest you, we can enchant your Ouroboros with a spell. It costs one lune, however.”
They fall silent and watch you with a peaceful air, hands clasped and soft smiles gracing their features.

Alright, how this works is that you randomize a number from 1-50 in the thread and that number is your fortune. You’ll get a mini pumpkin with the fortune soon after that.
As for the spell, you can indeed get your ouroboros enchanted. It does cost 1 lune but everybody receives 2 at the start of this room so it’s up to you. If you do choose to get the spell, post in thread – a list will be made. The spell is Ouroboros – “The Ourboros worn by the Empyrean can be infused with the Empyrean's natural essence, to be stored like a buffer. When attacked by another's Essence, such as during essence-infused physical attacks, or from spell work, the Ouroboros lashes out with its stored strength to deal damage to the one who directed the opponent's Essence. If the spell Ouroboros is placed upon an Ouroboros and the power in it is not released and used, it can stack 1 point's worth of damage for each time the spell is cast upon it. Note that the Ouroboros cannot actually protect you from damage, it merely ensures that when another hits you with Essence they will take damage for every blow they land on you.”

Over a small table various stencils, pens, and paints. Various easels are set up, art supplies nearby; the hostess of this corner of the tavern hums happily as she bustles around the various easels turning to look at you as you approach.
Belwen's cotton candy colored hair is pulled up in intricate curls on top of her head a painters hat balanced on top of it gives the form fitting smock she wears a bit of added flair. Grinning slightly she waves to anyone nearby that hasn't stopped by yet. "Tonight I offer you my skills, just tell me what your heart desires and for five credits I can create it for you."
Stepping to the side she motions her hand over a few examples laid out on various small easels.

13 Apples hanging from a tree, 12 dark red and one bright green blindfolded, spun around, and then set free Is that green one meant for me?Apples are strung from tree branches arching out of the side wall of the room. As you approach, you're offered a blindfold. An Empyrean explains the rules. "We'll spin you around and then push you towards the tree! When you find an apple, take off your blindfold - if it's green, you can make a wish... and have a treat!" She gestures to a dish of candied apples, and a dish of candies.
"But, you'll have to pay us one base credit per turn! You can play as many times as you want, though!"

In another small area, two Empyreans stand beside a very large, hollowed out pumpkin. The top has been cut into a wide hole, and one of the caretakers of the pumpkin holds a wide dish. Inside the dish are wrapped treats of all sorts: candies, chocolates, wrapped apple slices with caramel, among others.
"Take a piece, any piece! Actually, take five! Five pieces for one base credit."
"Then!" says the other one, grinning and pointing to a line, "step back behind that line. Give your treat a toss, and if you manage to land it in the pumpkin, you get to keep your treats!"
"But you know," the other one says, "That's a little too simple... why not make it more interesting? If you get the candy to land in the pumpkin..."
"Then you'll get a kiss!" the other finishes, laughing.

Half of the room, near the bar appears to be dedicated to tables, polished to a cheery orange sheen to reflect the spirit of the room. Ringing each of these tables are stylish, comfortable chairs with varying degrees of orange and green fabric. Each table has at least two, while the bigger tables have up to eight chairs wedged into it -- it's apparent that an Empyr or two moved them there in order to seat a large party.
On the center of each of the small tables is a carved Jack-O-Lantern -- yet these are much smaller than seen in the other orange room in the White District. Each one has a cheerful face carved in it, looking quite silly in comparison to the large, white candle stuck within each one.
On each of the larger tables, there is at least one lantern of some sort. As you watch, one of the Empyrs walks towards an empty table holding a couple more lanterns, setting them down and arranging them in such a way to help give the table more atmosphere. After this is accomplished, he stands straight up and turns, grinning. "Ah, I thought someone was watching!" He greets, before offering a bow. "Please excuse me, we ran out of candles for the larger tables and are substituting lanterns instead. Feel free to take one on your way out, if you're interested in having one -- we have plenty! If there's a certain color you'd like, please let me know. We have several, though most of them are in light, pastel-like colors."
