Personality:Strong-willed, but also very aware of what he sees as his duties, Adin is something of a traditionalist. That isn't to say he won't ever break a rule, or do anything wrong--he'd just be careful to avoid doing things that he would feel could bring shame to himself, his family, or those he'd consider it his duty to protect.
He's the sort who, once he embarks on a task, won't give up unless he's thoroughly exhausted all possibilities, even if it means bringing pain, or greater hardship upon himself. This same stubborn streak, and focus, means that he's quite observant, and relatively cool-tempered, as a rule. Family is paramount, in his eyes--although not necessarily in the way we might typically envision a close family bond. It's something colored strongly by a sense of duty.
That said, he isn't entirely self-sacrificing, or overly heroic, either--he would give his life to defend the lives, and values, that the pride holds dear-but only if the situation really merited it (i.e. he's hardly likely to get into a fight-to-the-death over someone mocking, or belittling them, to give one extreme example.)
Perhaps his greatest flaw is that he sometimes finds it hard to connect, on a personal level--that's not to say that he doesn't feel affection for individuals, or that he's incapable of relating at -all- on a one-to-one basis...but he can sometimes be rather oblivious to individual non-essential needs, including his own. Physical Appearance: Tallish (around 5'10) with fair skin and longish red hair that hangs to just above his shoulders. His eyes are silvery grey, and he usually dresses in a pair of leather pants, accompanied, when the weather is cold, by a long-sleeved, lace-up leather shirt. When the weather is warmer, he usually opts to go shirtless, since he's comfortable in his own skin.
Personality: Outgoing and friendly, his curiosity is nearly as powerful as that of Lakota, and so the pair can be expected to get into all sorts of trouble, as time goes on x.X;;. He also has a perverted sense of humor, although he does make some effort to restrain himself in the presence of other Kawani tribe members, since he feels that he owes them his respect for allowing him to reside with them heart .
History: No one besides Vashtya himself is really sure of his exact history before he showed up at the outskirts of the Kawani village, looking rather the worse for wear. His hair was gnarled and unkempt, his buckskin clothing was ragged, he was covered in scratches, and he'd been clutching a knife like a lifeline, a wild expression in his silvery eyes. It had taken him a few weeks to fully relax and show himself to be less wary than the wildest of forest creatures.
Until he earned Lakota's trust, he lived peacefully among the Kawani, making himself useful by providing his share of food via hunting, although he remained decidedly unattached.

-Other owners, shop staff, and, really, any friends of mine are welcome to drop in and initiate RP (again, all IC), although I'd prefer that you double-check with me first, as I may have something in-progress and want to reserve posts before we begin. <3.

Peeking his head out of his teepee, Lakota surveyed the area by the river upon which he'd taken up residence. The sun was shining overhead, and the water sparkled invitingly. With a small snort of contentment, the young foal trotted out of his home, tail streaming behind him.
Stopping at the water's edge, Lakota stared down at the shimmering surface, his head cocked slightly to the side in curiosity. Carefully, he lifted one slender leg, setting his hoof carefully in the blue substance. When his hoof created a small splash, the young soliqui made a small squeal of surprise, dancing back a few paces. Staring almost accusingly at the strange thing, he waited for it to do something else, as if anticipating an attack.
When the water continued to lap gently at the shore, he made his way slowly up to it again, setting his hoof into it more carefully, this time. When there was no new reaction from the glitterly surface in front of him, Lakota lowered his nose to within a few inches of the surface, and exhaled, his eyes widening when the surface dipped slightly beneath the exhale. Experimentally, he emitted a loud huff, his expression one of delighted enrapture.
After a few more moments, Lakota raises his head and, exceedingly proud of himself, pranced his way back up onto the shore, plonking down with a small grunt of contentment and lounging about in the sunshine, enjoying it's warmth. His eyes slowly drifted shut, and within moments, soft snores could be heard.

As the bright mid-afternoon sun faded into dusk, and the vibrant purples and oranges lit the riverbanks in jewel-like hues, Lakota yawned, his eyes fluttering open slowly as he blinked a few times, his expression one of vague befuddlement. Hadn't it been early afternoon? He'd just closed his eyes for a few moments, hadn't he? With a small snort of disgust--he'd wasted half the day sleeping--Lakota got to his feet, shaking the sand off've his dark coat.
Stepping forward daintily, as if some vestiges of his disorientation still clung, Lakota waded about ankle-deep into the river before dipping his muzzle in for a drink. As the cool water soothed his dry throat, it also cleared his head. Guess I did sleep longer than I'd planned.. he thought with a touch of embarrassment--thankfully, there was no one around to see his long nap--he wasn't a baby, to need naps in the middle of the day, after all!
With an indignant, self-directed snort, Lakota trotted back off towards his teepee, sending droplets of water flying in different directions.
