Ona'raha Subiani, formally named, strode down along the river. He had been meaning to speak with the other sparse members of this land for a while now but had been so engrossed in his two new friends that he had all but forgetten he wasn't the only Ela in existance.
So, intent on finding long lost members and possible newly joined members, he trotted merrily along the river side, hoping he'd catch someone drinking down in the heat.
He glanced up to see Kucha flying up ahead and was about to call to her. But she didn't stop. She kept on going.
Sighing, he looked over his shoulder wondering if Rehema and Malik were going to join him today. He had told then where he was going and had secretly hoped they would follow.
"Hellooooo?" He called, hoping that someone would answer.

Rehema was, as always, leading the charge. Ona's little announcement was pretty much a hidden 'hint' for them both to follow along. Malik really didn't want to but he didn't have a say in it. He wanted to sleep but the big lug was doing more and more of that. At the very least, they could go to support Ona in meeting with his clan again.
"You don't have to yell." She smiled softly as she approached, padding quietly up from behind him. "I just had to get him out of bed." She nodded back towards Malik.
Malik yawned again, then began muttering about waking him up this early. He was never in the mood to talk first thing after waking. He lazily padded himself forward, his paws still heavily thudding against the ground.
"Mmurngph... bleh... kid..", he just walked on past Ona. He had no idea where he was going.

Where was that girl? He tolerated, if not ignored her frequent disappearances, but it was very odd for her to be gone long passed the point when he did recognize she was gone. Maybe he half expected her to not come back someday. He didn’t suppose he’d blame her; he was getting old, and despite all the excuses she made he knew the real reason she stalled in these red lands was to give him time to rest. It agitated him. He didn’t need to rest.
But unfortunately, the mountain plain seemed almost barren of life, Ameh or not. What few lions did inhabit the lands seemed reclusive and shy. Wary even of outsiders. They could certainly see him a mile away against all the red. He was massive. He was rather ugly. But most of all, he was an obnoxious shade of green. That sure as hell made finding anyone like finding a bunch of chameleons with their tails on fire.
In slight frustration Phib grunted, his curled and tempered mane somewhat lofting in the stagnant breeze. He could scent others on the wind, but he doubted they’d hold their ground long enough for him to get there. Truth be told- reluctance or not to his admittance of age, the brute wasn’t about to start running anywhere either. He bided away his strength for when it was necessary. And it often was, living the life of a vagabond.
As a stroke of luck would have it however, the other lions seemed either distracted or unawares of his approach. Two males and a female- but unfortunately, none appeared to be Ameh. He slowed his advance once he got to the point where it was hard to ignore him- not particularly wanting to rise alarm. He didn’t however make any effort to seem amiable either. “Excuse me.” His thick, slightly accented voice broke towards the lions. “Have you seen-“
Had Phib or any of the other lions been looking elsewhere, they might have caught sight of the lioness returning from somewhere or nowhere. She hit the ground with a thump which brought Phib’s head towards the lump of white and gold- by then, securely in her motal form. Odd… He was usually pretty good at scenting her.
“…nevermind.” He growled and paced towards her- but Amedia was already up and dusting herself off. She was out of breath, but wasted little time in mending the situation.
“Ona! Hello!” She preened, not missing the slight grunt her mate made. She siddeled in front of him, for the moment more interested in the others- even slightly embaressed. She wheezed for a second taking breath- and recomposed herself. While she waited for a response, her head turned towards the larger figure beside her. She got his face in hers with a rather disgruntled stare. But if it intimidated her- she only smiled, and Phib had a hard time glaring when she did that, so he averted his eyes instead.

Success! He turned to face Rehema and Malik, a wide smile on his face. He didn't think he'd stopped smiling recently and the expression seemed imprinted on his maw. He couldn't remember feeling so happy. He paused and trotted up to the chocolate femme, buffetting his head affectionately against her shoulder. She was built bigger than him but he had never seemed to mind. She made him feel safe!
"Sorry" He apologised meekly, curling his tail around a hind leg. He had to admit that the prospect of meeting others again did make him a little excitable.
"What's wrong with him?" He asked of Reh, indicating Malik with the tilt of his head. "Just sleepy?" Poor guy...maybe he should have stayed sleeping. He was about to open his mouth and suggest it when another voice interrupted him.
He turned to meet the face of an oddly coloured male, gruff in appearance and rather frightening too. Ona'raha took a step back in fright but it was gone the moment that Ameh made her appearance.
This lion must have something to do with her! He had taken an instant liking to the little female, perhaps because she was the only outsider to look like a proper Ela, the markings on her back reminiscent to tattoos on an Ela.
"Ameh!" He squeaked! "I'm so glad you're still here! Is this a friend of yours?" He tipped his head slightly. "This is Rehema my..." What could he call her? Would it be okay to call her his mate? He glanced back at her. "My...mate." He gave the chocolate lioness a small smile. "And the sleepy one is Malik." He laughed.

Malik seemed to wake himself up well enough at the appearence of another male comparable to his own bulk. He'd never been comfortable around large males. Perhaps it was that it had been a firekin, the brutes of the lion world, that had taken his brother from him at the waterhole. It seemed the sleepy, almost dopey lion melted away into a highly defensive one. He lifted his head up and shook out his mane to rid it of the matting that he'd dealt it in his sleep, the moisture didn't help in the bit. Shoulders rolled back and eyes narrowed, he made a point to make the other male quietly aware that he was watching his every move. Rehema and Ona had slowly become like family to him. And having watched his own family slowly drift apart, or in Azeze's case- fall victim to the firekin, he wasn't about ready to allow anything else to happen.
However, Rehema stepped herself out calmly, slapping the side of Malik's face with the large fluff of white at the tip of her tail, moving calmly and confidently out to meet with Ona, returning his affectionate rub before glancing towards the others. Her confident smile broke into a soft chuckle as Ona announced her. She kind of liked the sound of that. It was different, and it would need getting used to- but it was a welcome enough change.
"Ignore him." She nodded back towards Malik, "He's not one for waking up on anyone else's time but his own." She chuckled. A pridelander lioness though very obviously of rogue blood. She had a stronger jaw than most prideland lionesses and a sharper look to her frame. A born huntress, she had an almost dominating gleam in her eye. "Well Ona's already introduced you Ameh." She tipped her head a bit towards the female but eyed the male, "But you are...?"

[ *cry* I totally typed up a response to this, and must have only thought I posted it. Maybe the second go is a charm. >8[! ]
Amedia’s face brightened when she heard the young male’s admission. A mate! She didn’t remember that from before- or was she being adle minded again? If only Phib had met Ona before, he was good with remembering tactful things like that. But if it was new, she only hoped it bid well for the land’s future. They needed more life and love. “Truly?” She gleamed. “I am pleased to meet you then! Both of you.” She corrected, nodding her head to the sleepy male. “I’m Ameh; a healer.” She wondered if the nonthreatening title was necessary however- by the size of the other two lions, she doubted they were of the same clan Ona was.
Her head quirked at the female’s question, and her ear swiveled in the direction of the large green lion. She knew better then to introduce him- although she often did. He took things seriously that she took for granted, and she respected that. She hoped he wasn’t too distraught with her; he could be a rather bitter individual when he was agitated.
But, if he was agitated with her he didn’t let it linger in his voice. “Hello,” He thrummed steadily, dark red eyes fleeting once in the direction of the other female’s. Friends of Ameh were rarely a troubling sort to the brute. All bright eyes and youthfulness. It made him feel somewhat self conscious, and his tail swayed. “I am Phib.”
She took over from there, sweeping daintily between Ona and Phib. “Hehe.” She smiled. “My friend, yes. My mate. I am glad to see you again, Ona.”
“But you are glad to see me?” she asked again, her face momentarily falling. She had been distracted for a time- hopefully no one had been hurt. “I hope you are well?”

I hope you don't mind but I continued the thread in the new guild. I'm finding myself looking at this one less and less: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=10738897Also if anyone catches Saffy, it'd be awesome if they could let her know about this RP. I'm hoping it can be their official start up RP so Clan plotting can begin.
