I personally love the name for my story, the story of Alexander.
Unfortunately I mostly just have half a beginning and most of an end right now. -_-;;
Here's how it goes: Alexander and Ira live in a large village, but they don't really know each other, until Alex gets caught stealing(who woulda thought) and Ira "bails him out." After that she starts hanging around him and sort of builds her own little story around him in which he is the hero. WRONG! XD And, I don't know much other than that. There's another character that comes in somewhere. He and Alex end up going to the ruins of the deserted plains for some reason.
Um, okay... some guy comes... and... Uhhhh................................................................... idea Casts a spell on the village for no prticular reason, turning everyone evil! Except that the strange mutation that gives Alex a red spot in his eye absorbs the spell, and he only becomes evil sometimes, so he and some dude who looks suspiciously like Link have to travel to the ruins of the old world to find a counter spell.
And that, children, is how god-awful RPG's are born! xd
Hee hee. Fun quotage. The dude who looks suspiciously like Link gives Alex a sword, which he has no idea how to use. So as they're walking up a hill, Alex bringing up the rear, he goes on about how if they practiced sword-fighting more, they'd be able to defend themselves better. so Alex, in a bad mood, says "I don't have to be a master of swordsmanship to stab you in the back of the head right now." "Like you would." "I will!" .... "Well?" "I'll do it later..."

by 'no particular reason' do you mean you haven't thought of one yet or the evil guy was throwing around spells? (read: is there a tactical reason for that place to be evil? location? resources?)

That was me making fun of mediocre RPG story-lines. I intend for there to be a reason. Of some sort... Maybe not even a good reason. Maybe it's just "These weaklings disgust me! Let's liven things up a little! *casts spell*" *shrug*
