First, I have to say this is the coolest free item ever, no matter what sort of author M. Scott is.
Second: Has anyone read any of his stuff? I tried looking him up on Amazon and got a frustrating mix of books by other people and first-books-in-series that looked like they might be by him but had no description whatsoever--no abouts, nothing.
So--anyone know?

I tried to get a copy from the library today.
Unfortunately, I went to the wrong branch! redface

I finally did get a copy.
Not bad. Not the best-ever, but not bad.
It's the first in a trilogy razz Didn't realize that before I started; now there is a wait to find out what happens next!

I got the book, read it and am looking forward to the next one. I read on Wiki that it will probably be 6 books in the whole series. I'm not complaining, series rule!

Depends. Some series are really good--you get to constantly look forward to more great stuff.
Others are just bloat--way too much time spent on stuff that doesn't need to be there.
And, well, I think Scott's book has the potential to be a good trilogy. Six books--I'm not sure he can sustain it. The basic topic doesn't seem to be quite *that* complex.
We'll see, though.
