That's a load of bull crap TheAlmightyBeanDip, and I find your ignorance astounding. If that is your honest opinion then you need to go back to class, listen, learn, and not be such a douchebag. I'm not a feminist by any means, but definitely advocate it, and it's because of your way of thinking. I mean wow... wow.

With grammar such as yours, which at least shows that you are able to think in some sort of mature manner, I'm shocked and appalled that you wouldn't think even for one second that I might have been messing around. Heck, the ":3" face gave it away, yet you failed to realize it. Maybe I'm not the one that should go back to school...

Dee,
my professor has not mentioned that theory, however, I do know of it.
Does it not have something to do with the literature being the first in which we see a real connection with relationships between a man and a woman, especially Penelopes' character?
In anycase, I do believe that the style differs much from the Iliad. Even with Sappho's writing we can tell it is a woman who wrote the poetry and not a man, because of content. Very interesting.
=].
I will make no comment in regards to the "feminist statement". However, I will say this. Katie's grammar is the result of too much latin homework.

Shocked and appalled as you may be, you can trust that the horror is returned. But - for fear of Jamie's wrath I shall bite my tongue here and stop the argument. He has nails. NAILS.
