Seriously why are they said to be a Emo/Pop band? ....uhh....how is Paramore emo....cna someone explain....(Now ethier they mean the true emo meaning which is Emo for EMOtional... or the trend which is full of wannabes and people cutting themselves to be cool....no offence to who is actually like that....) Is it becuase of how they look in the video of Emergency...?

It's just the media.
The media today calls basically all mainstream rock/alternative "emo".
:/
Just ignore it. That's what I did when they called some of my favorite bands "emo".

Yeah it doesn't matter what band it is, they always end up being classified as emo... Now I mean Paramore's songs are filled with a lot of emotion but the media always refers to the whole posers/cutters emo... Not emotional emo.... I hate the media...

don't let the media affect how you view paramore. Paramore's only label is Paramore... and take that how you will, but they are one of a kind. so how can they be labeled anything but that?

I hate the way the media always labels Paramore "emo" when they're not. I say let them decide what type of genre they are instead of letting the media.

Paramore is so not "emo". People only call them "emo", I think, because all people know about "emo" is the stereo types.

they're not emo, but the media are stupid, and think they're emo, when they have no idea.

Totally agree i don't c how they r emo da only people who decide if their music is emo or not is da artists!!!Hate da people assume it just coz in one mag they hair might look like an emo style when it's not!!!!People who do dat r pathetic!!!

Paramore has way to many lame stereotypes that dont even make sense. I dont listen to them and no one else should either. Paramore isnt an emo bandXinfinity!
