i have noticed that between all of us we have all the sailor moon episodes, specials, movies, and PGSM.
i have a dream:
make a webste just for members where you can download the eps at your leisure.
but how to make the website?

Buy a dot com site with a TON of bandwich and start uploading like crazy. You'd probably need to have servers too, as traffic for the movies would be quite heavy.

Server = Computer store and always on broadband line. Or just check google to see if anyone's selling cheap and high bandwidth server space.
There's a problem with that though, most of the people who sell server space don't want it used for downloading stuff, because it's usually illegal things. Even if there's no liscence for it here, it's still technically illegal to possess fansubs/dubs. Because it's international copyright law and Japan is part of the coalition. It's jsut harder to find/crack down on things no one has heard of.

And they link to a site to legally buy the anime off of. Also, I checked, at the very least, the MP3s are stored as zips, also making it harder to find them on the site since people who do those legal searches use the terms "MP3 file" frequently. 3nodding

hmm...maybe we could just have starS eps or something then...i know that O and R are no longer liscensed in north america, but still...hmm...i could transfer using MSN, but..
maybe we could just have a list of people in the guild who have episodes (they could provide a list of what they have) and what file transfer system they have. that would work i think...

we might get in trouble for putting the actual episodes and songs on there...maybe we could put contact info for us...for "video information" or something like that. ^.^
but the pictures and gifs and stuff...we could totally do something with that.

yeah...well...i don't have $8...o.O
but, starS is not liscensed anywhere but japan. we could host those. if my computer gets up and running again, i have great quality ones. and i also have one of the musicals. PGSM we could also put up.

Not sure how to go about any of that, but it's an awesome idea. hah I would love to make DVDs of all the episodes and movies that I can't afford to buy.

I can tell you now that powweb.com would not be good for this. My site is hosted there, and I get 10GB bandwidth each day. I also host episodes and movies. I kept going over the 10GB over and over again, and I eventually had to make the episodes password protected.
