Sup, Guildies. I was just thinking about how many new members we've got, the great topics, magical discussion, it's great, I love it. And while I was thinking about my olden days here, when I was simply a member then just a mod, how I would spend hours combing Gaia looking for recruits for the guild. God, it was annoying. I enjoyed it, though, because it helped my guild. But my point is, more and more people are just showing up at the Guild's door. How'd you find us? What brought you here, what keeps you coming back, that sort of thing. But let me know so I can figure out how to get in members.

I found this place simply through searching, and out of most of the paranormal guilds this one seemed the most active. I love this place, it's simply great. So many people have so much knowledge about almost... everything. I continue to return because the answers I get here are usually legit and most people know how to keep the fluff out of the guild.

I can totally relate to your story Josh. I remember when I was nothing but a lowly... Well I was never lowly, always captain. But I remember making a $&#! load of recruit threads that were never successful. There were always those A-holes who would be like "U R teh dumbness psychstuff dont egsist!"
My bet is a lot of people were either verbally invited by friends, or they were browsing the guild network, because the MPRILC has "Magick, Alchemy, and Psi-onics" in the search thing.

Went browsing the registry, looking fo' some interesting places, and came here. Decided that since I already had some knowledge, I may as well sign up.

sorry but no cool story or refrence here. i simply searched magick adn this is the guild that caught my eye.
(also, would any be able to tell me if their computer screen is showing the avitars at a raised hight?)

Well, I had originally met LoB through his and Scrat's shop. He was saving up for a guild. He eventually got the guild, and invited me. So..uhh..Yeah..That's pretty much it. sweatdrop

Weird they have a guild section for that but not a thread in the main forum... sweatdrop I personally searched "otherkin" because the two guilds I'm in no one posts at anymore it seems... one of the guilds though is an "extension" of a forum I frequent anyway on another site, so... it's fine for me. Searching though brought up the recruitment thread and some links... so... I ended up coming to here for applying. 3nodding

I think Azana brought me here after I met her in another guild that I was randomly invited to. (A guild maintained by the infamous Guitar Hero, olol. I was glad she through me a link to a real guild.) And why do I keep coming back? Only place on Gaia where I can have a proper debate without someone being too high and mighty (ED) or too low (GD).

I got here from seeing Josh on Just About Every Magick Guild I Was In replying to people's threads with endless questions, which made me go WTF and immediately stalk his profile and check the guilds he was in.
It all sort of went downhill from there. D:
