Art Thread Rules

Payment -> All art is 100% free.
All tips must be in the form of "rice." This means you find me a recipe that involves rice then post it in this thread. I'll accept anything from how to boil rice to onigiri to risotto. (This is not required to receive art. It's just a gimmicky way of saying that I don't really need gold.)

As always, leave wings and pointy ears on. The angelic scarf may be left out because I'm honestly not sure how it would even work due to the desired pose. Halo can also be left out as I'm pretty indifferent to it either way.

Pose references - I want something like this (yes, hanging upside down) but not chewing on anything. I was thinking that Sheard can be holding one katana in hand and other off to the side.

Hm... I think it may be wise to mention that the Gwee behind my head serves as my ears - at least for what I saw what I first put this avatar together. Also, feel free to leave out the Summoning Tome dragon thingy... I'm not so attached to it in this avatar that I'd just demand it drawn in! sweatdrop It would be nice, though... Still, do whatever about it!

ninja Oh, and I've always been fond of rice and ketchup - ever since I was a little girl and wasn't afraid of heat. Simply, you need some freshly steamed rice and a bottle of Heinz ketchup. Optionally, you can have some sort of meat in this meal - spam, fried chicken, etc. - but I personally love the pure flavor of the combonation alone.
With the steamed rice, form it into spheres of whatever size you'd like. Prepare a side plate with ketchup and simply dip the rice balls in the ketchup. Actually, as time past for me, I began to hate the taste of ketchup and loathe heat most forms. So, my tastes changed and I wouldn't actually say rice and ketchup is my favorite dish... It was my favorite childhood dish, anyway...

Extra Details - Basically, I'm looking for an image of my current avatar. I hope it's challenging enough for you. If the image is too challenging, then you can use the basic human avatar. If you use the grombie skin, please include green on the grunny and the coco's eyes, if not, then please make the coco's eyes a deep red or a silver to match other items. If you do decide to add the little rain cloud, you could probably make it cute and small and just hovering over the character's head while still raining, IF you decide to add it. Could you also add bat like wings to the character's back, somewhat similar to the ankle wings. And just to make things probably a bit easier, you could probably make the eye slits on the mask thinner and more devilish(?). I'm kind of wanting a minor reaper sort of feel to the current outfit I have on.

All in all, just have fun and experiment if you like. I'm not picky.



I absolutely love making a type of stir fry with rice. I have a tendency to marinate chicken in a type of teriyaki sauce and cook it with veggies while adding some water to actually kind of poach the meat and (steam) the veggies. I let all the water boil away, add a little more sauce and then cook the meats so they have a nice thin browning (I like my meat like that) then add in the rice and mix it all up. I love it, though I know it's not to everyone else's likings.

Okay, that's fine since I hadn't started coloring yet. Coloring takes me such a long time to do that it's the only phase where I won't do a redo on once I start it.


I'm a bit behind on school stuff (was out sick Thurs & Fri) am am taking a test I missed last week today... plus still need to learn all of this weeks stuff for another test this Friday. sweatdrop Fortunately there's no class at all Thursday, so it's going to be a big catch up day for me for art and school stuff and everything else. ^^;;
