Well! On Saturday I finally pick up my new kitten! I'm so excited! They are already ready to go, but I need to spend a little onme-on-one time with my first cat before I introduce another one on her, after my long absence. http://www3.telus.net/hopscotch/kittens.htmlThere are 4 pics near the bottom, the first three are the females, with temp names of Angel, Jane, and Bubbles. One of those I will get to pick from on Saturday. I'm so looking forward to it.

Well1 I got the kitten on Saturday, and I finally gave her a name late last night. I decided to call her Panthea, and we've been calling her Pippa, an Pipi (as in Longstockings) too. I liked Pippa first, but I wanted something a bit fancier for a cat like that, so that's how the Panthea came about. But she'll have no problem answering to both. Figaro answers to Febe, Fig, Figs, Figgy, Fifi, Beefy Fifi, Piggy Figgy & Figaro (she's fat). My previous cat Romeo answered to Ro-middlely-oh-de-oh, Moema-no (because we kept wanted to call the name of the cat we had before him, Mozart "Mohh....meo") and various other Romey names. I did sort of break away from my norm, however. She actually has a female name! Figaro is a girl, and so was Mozart. I want to name some cats Utrillo and Orlando one day, but I just didn't think this was the cat for either of those this time.
She is a real cutie, I've been enjoying her company, and the only uncomfortable time was last night when she wouldn't settle down, and would dive under my covers, scratching my legs up mad She likes to sleep on my face, too, but that I can deal with. I'll start taking some pictures soon, and have them developed on disk (I don't have a digicam anymore) I'll take pics of some other things I have been promising too, like the blanket I made... but I can't do the red hair from April, because, alas, that brilliant red is gone. crying

Aww, sounds so cute! Our cat scratches my legs up all the time, and gnaws on the soles of my feet at the same time. Tickles like crazy, hurts just a bit.
Waiting patiently for pictures makes me impatient.
