 Welcome to the Gryffindor Tower! Here you will find the common room and dorms inhabited by the bravest and most daring of Hogwarts students. But remember, only Gryffindors can enter this place! Anyone caught in Gryffindor tower who doesn't belong will be expelled!

Harry stepped into the commonc room to find that it was mostly deserted except for one student. He had not seen this student before and decided to go make acquaintances.
"Hello," said Harry, extending his hand "I'm Harry Potter"

Sirus flopped down at the table, and pulled out a potions book. "It may be one of my best classes, but Snape is a royal pain!" Sirus started to flip through the book. "Let's see, three parts essence of gullibility, to one part flobberweed...." Then Sirus began to mumble incoherently.

Sirus looked up from his potions homework. He streched his arms and yawned. Man, I need some air. He thought to himself. He got up and went through the portrait hole.

Seraph entered the common room cautiously. She didn't want to disturb anyone who may have been hard at work. Since she had just started here, her professors hadn't given her much homework. This was a good thing because now she could tackle that later and spend the majority of her time sketching. Now, all she had to do was find a willing subject.
