It was mid day and Sai was up and about their 'home rock.' She was collecting leaves and grass and constructing a pile near it's base. "This should be softer than the ground atleast." She smiled and scooted the eggs onto her 'nest' of sorts. She then sat next to it and observed them with wonder and excitement.

Chase leapt onto the rock and looked over all the eggs. Tamago was out gathering fish and whatnot for Sai, he would be back soon though. "I still can't believe you're a mom, Tamago's a dad, and I'm an uncle! It's actually exciting. " He smiled and placed his hands on his cheeks.

"I know it hit me hard," she smiled at him in thought. "Favorite Uncle Chase! Can you imagine that? or them tackling Tamago 'daddy daady!' " She exclaimed with delight. She viewed them once more. "I cant wait till we finally get to meet them."

"Oh, I can't wait either!" His tail wagged. "Hearing them call Tamago 'Daddy' is going to be priceless, especially for his type."
Tamago walked along the path with a bundle of fish wrapped in cloth. It swayed from side to side as he slightly pranced. Everything happened so fast, and here he was a Father. Making the promise to never be like his mother. His head was held high and his posture showed himself to be full of pride.
Adrian loomed behind Tamago by quite a ways with his little "friend". Odd how the first Kitsu he ran into, decided to torment, became his closest friend. The horned Kitsu just grew on him...

Silence walked behind the larger nightmare quietly. His mismatched eyes watching the path in front of them. He seemed lost in thought, maybe even a little bit troubled. It was strange that he was constantly running into creatures and beings that, by all rights, should disturb him witless. If not for what they were, then how they behaved.
He glanced up shortly, "We've been traveling for quite a while. Any idea where we are?"

She giggled and continued on, " They'd be there for me to teach, and walk and ...." She sniffed. "stuff." She went off into to la-la land. "They'd be perfect little ...and they...ahhh." She laid next to the eggs and sighed.

Tamago continued to walk until he could see Sai. Than the walk turned into a jog. "Shhai!" He called as best he could with the cloth in his mouth.
Adrian didn't pick up his pace, but rather looked down at Silence. He wasn't as excited to see them and would rather be next to the horned Kitsu. "Sss-omewhere in the mountains-sss." He hissed and flicked his tongue out.

"Far indeed...", He paused to look around, both ears flipping up atop his head. He could smell something nearby but he wasn't positive what...not that he was especially paranoid with a creature like Adrian standing beside him. He wasn't much of a push-over if cornered but then again, he'd sworn off ever drawing blood.
His brow creased slowly, "I think we might be in someone's territory..."

Sai's ears perked up at Tamago's voice. She jumped up, "He's back!" She run to meet him half way "Welcome home, Tama-kun!"

Tamago nuzzled Sai as his response. HIs tails swayed from side to side. Chase looked down atthe eggs as Sai and Tamago did their greeting.
"I believe this is his territory..." He gestured his head toward Tamago. "heh, but you shouldn't be afraid of that. Fear is my job."

She smiled and proceeded to walk back to the 'nest' with Tamago. "I made them a soft bed while you were away." She said proudly.

Tamago set the food down next to the neat little nest Sai had built. He inspected it for any areas where cold could get to the eggs. It was odd, but somehow instinct. Anyone who had meet Tamago wouldn't have seen him as a father type... "You did an awesome job on it too." He nuzzled her as he cooed. "Thank you."

"You're Welcome, Tama." She beamed, "Oh, yeah, and Chase helped me too." She sat adjacent to the nest. "Thanks for the fish."

Tamago looked over at Chase with a smile. This actually made Chase shiver a bit. It was rare he got a 'thank you' smile from Tamago. He showed his appreciation in other ways, but usually never with a smile. Chase understood though. Tamago was excited about being a father of four. "Those were easy to catch. Had to go out a little in the lake, but they were little trouble." He puffed out his chest slightly proud of his catch and the complement received.
"Yup. I got all the small holes and double, triple and quadruple checked it even." Chase nodded.
