When you enter in the main doors of the school you come into the Main Foyer. Directly in front of you is the main stair well, which is a large stair case that goes up to a landing then continues up on the left and the right.
To your left and right are hallways. The left leads to the Main Dinning Hall and the right leads to the Central Salon.
The stairs and the floors are made of a rare granite from Africa. The railings are made of a rich oak.
For the ball the railings are decorated with flowers. Some more flowers direct you to the Central Salon.

Arai leaned against the banister waiting for Keiko to arrive, he hadn't discussed with her where they'd meet or even when, he just figured this would be a safe area.
A large group of girls walked past giggling, Ryuu this and Terrence that, and Oh those Twins, Miu is going to be adorable. It made Arai frustrated, he wasn't used to formal things, aside from kendo matches.
He was glad that he managed to talk the fashion club into helping him out with an outfit for the ball, they had seemed oddly ready for his arrival to him, as though someone tipped them off before hand. The only problems with the outfit were that the sleeves were too tight, so he ripped them off and the club hemmed them, and that there was no place for him to carry his bokken, the club then made a fashionable sheath for him.OOC: I know you don't have to post a pic of your avis I just felt like it in my first post...

Mari came skipping in. This was the first time she had been to a formal event. She was so excited. The only odd thing was that for once she didn't have Mr. Whiskers. She had spent the pervious day with her mother in the hospital and gave Mr. Whiskers to her mother for company while she went back to school.
Mari's shoe started to fall of she quickly pulled it off and ran over to the stairs to put it back on. Mari looked up and saw Arai, "Hello mister! Are you waiting for someone?" Mari asked cheerfully. Before Arai could answer Keiko came in and walked up to him. "He WAS waiting for me." Keiko knelt down to Mari, "Now aren't you cute. Here if you put a piece of paper behind your heel you wont have to worry about your shoe falling off." Keiko said in a sweet voice."Oh ok thank you miss." Mari smiled and ran off."What?" Keiko looked at Arai who had a very puzzled look on his face. "Are you saying I can't be sweet and nice!" Keiko scolded, "Well I'll have you know that I can!" Keiko turned and pouted, "I just don't have a reason to be mean to such a small child that's all."

Terrence made his way down to the Main Foyer, where he suddenly met up with several of his clients.
"No, I don't have one..." Terrence answered honestly when one girl asked if he had a date, while they were decending the stairs."What?!" exclaimed several.Terrence laughed, " It's one of the recommendations of the Host Club that we remain dateless, that way we can be a little bit more free when it comes to requested dancing." He explained." That sounds so stuffy! " Complained one girl who was latched onto his right arm.
"Oh by the way those shades are very charming and cool..." blushed one girl."ah...thank you..." Terrence thanked."What about Yuriko? You're fiance? Isn't she going with you?" asked the girl at his left arm."Yuriko? No, I did mean to ask her to come so we could share at least one dance, but I haven't seen her anywhere. " Terrence said sady."Ohhhhh...." ohed the 5 or 6 girls around him. "Aren't you a little nervous that she might have someone else?"Terrence shook his head. " To be honest with you, I wouldn't mind if she had a date. " "WHAT?!" exclaimed one girl stopping. " You don't?!""No, I don't." He said turning to face the girl with a smile. " She doesn't mind me being a Host and so it would be only fair if she decided to go with someone else and not have me mind either. " "Ooooh.... Terrence.... isn't that a bit....a bit...." "neglectful?" another girl finished."Hm...perhaps, but that is the way things are. " He said

"I didn't say a word," Arai said, "I don't doubt you can be sweet and nice."
Arai heard Terrence coming down the stairs talking about Yuriko. That pompous a**.
"Here this is for you," Arai handed Keiko a nicely decorated box, "I thought, that since you liked that chocolate so much, I'd bring you some more."

Terrence shot Arai a look from behind his darken shades and turned, " I need to meet everyone at the Gardens." He said smoothy.
"OOOH!! Can't we come with?!"
Terrence smiled, " Sure why not, I'm sure we won't be alone. " He said somewhat mischieviously.
"MMMM!!!!! whee heart whee heart " the small group of girls continued to follow and prance beside Terrence as they made their way to the Rose Garden.

Keiko grabbed Arai's arm after taking the chocolate, "Come on lets go in. Ignore that playboy Terrance." Keiko continued to hang on Arai's arm as she dragged him in to the salon.

Terrence is going to pay, he can count on that.
She's hanging onto my arm? What's going on with her?
Arai followed Keiko into the salon.

later...
Yukimi rested against the banister of the stairs.
Too bad it is futile to care for Ryuu, after all his family will force him to marry someone who isn't me, and there is nothing I can do about that.

Keiko walked out of the Salon lifting up her hair to allow for some air to brush her neck. She sat on the floor near the door to the Salon and rested the back of her head on the cool wall. She enjoyed the feel of the cold granite.

Yukimi heard the door to the salon close, she looked over the banister and saw Keiko sitting on the granite.
Great, it's Keiko. I really don't want to make any trouble for Ryuu tonight, I better make myself scarce without her noticing me at all.
Yukimi walked cautiously away when a couple of girls walked out of the salon and spotted her.
"Hey look, there's that girl who had like a dozen dances with Prince Ryuu."
"Who does she think she is?"
Damn them

Keiko looked up when she heard the girls talking. Those were the type of girls she hated more than even Yukimi. Keiko stood up and walked over to the girls. "Listen, do you two realize how similar the music is that's being played. Chances are that MY BROTHER just didn't notice that the music changed." Keiko made sure that the girls knew that she was Ryuu's sister.
The girls glared at her them left. Keiko looked at Yukimi, "I didn't do that for you!" She spat, "I just don't want anyone to cause Ryuu any grief tonight, he has enough to worry about tonight."

"I would never expect that you would help me," Yukimi said flatly, "But thank you anyway."
Yukimi smiled snidely and began walking towards the main door.
"It is good that Ryuu has a sister who looks out for him," she said sarcastically, "Good Night Keiko."
Yukimi headed out of the school with a bit of a smile.
I wonder what it is that Ryuu wants to talk to me about. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough

Keiko laughed at Yukimi's comments. Only for tonight Yukimi. It all depends on what Ryuu does tonight. Will he quit or not.
Keiko walked back into the Salon but kept to the door. Waiting to see what Ryuu would do.
