I recently got this game on the Xbox 360. I know, I know...it's been out for like five years.
Anyway, we haven't had it very long, but I'm so addicted! I have one character: Monk (Halex). Oh, I'm on the Caitsith server in case someone happens to play and would like to be in a party with me. =D
This is the first MMORPG I've ever played, so I don't know too much about them (I've only been in a party once and that was with one person xD). I'm a fast learner when it comes to video games though, and the person I partied with told me a lot.

I though Final Fantasy was only on the Sony systems....
I actually enjoyed the game called GunBound. If you want to take a look, you can go to Softnyx.net. Its really fun.

Normally it is, but they do have games for other systems now...just not the number series. Gamecube, Gameboy, DS, etc. all have the older games out for them now.
FFXI was on PC first, then the PS2 and 360. It's very different from the others considering it's online.

Actually, I did notice that Crystal Chronicles and the new FF III were for Nintendo systems...though it kinda confused me. I never really got into CC, and got stuck on 3. ^^() Dang shadow...

You really can't judge a game by what others say though, a lot of people say it's bad because it's online and it costs a few bucks a month. I always thought it would suck because of what others have said, but now I regret ever listening to them. xD Just because it's really different from other Final Fantasy games doesn't mean it's bad. Getting it was sort of a compulsive buy, we thought we might as well try it out because of the 1 month free trial.
Also, considering there are 200,000 to 300,000 active players logging in per day (Wiki), there must be something good about it.

Yeah it's only a matter of time ebfore 13 goes on the 360 as well. I hope it won't but I won't be stunned if it happens. I've heard it be said that FFXI was built with the PS2 in mind actually. *vague memory*
