 It had been a long time since the excursion in the came, and Morning Glow had yet to meet up with the dark coated kitsu again. All for the better really, as far as she was concerned!
She was hop-hop-hoppitying down the beaten trail, large ears brushing the plants alongside said trail, as a smug smile placed itself on her face, her nose turned up to the sky.
Getting older had certainly not made her any less of a prissy little thing!

Or, 
Wraith was curled up in a tree. He had decided that this particular tree, who's branches seemed to curl out like a banana peel, was the perfect spot for him to watch the grass grow. He of course, was waiting for nightfall, and he was extremely busy passing the day in a stupor. He could smell the faint tingly odor of a thunderstorm approaching. It didn't bother him much, though.

With her face upturned to the sky, MG's eyes idly glanced at the branches of the trees above. Suddenly she spotted something bright pink.
Then an all to fammiliar stence made her nose twitch.
"Heey! It's you again!" And she thought the burrow was a small world. Ha.

It had been a few weeks since Wraith had last had any contact with anything living, other than his meals. The noise startled him, causing him to jump. After steadying himself on a large, curved limb, he peered down. Then he grimaced.

A familiar angry pout formed on her face, as she sat, and looked up at Wraith.
"Well? Not even a hello? You're so mean," She siad, sticking her tongue out at him.
Really, what was that grimace for anyway? It's not like she was truely the bane of his existance, or anything! nope, she wa a sweet, innocent little thing. ((*watches otu for lightening* >.> ))

Wraith didn't say anything for a few moments, but looked off towards the dark clouds gathering to the west.
Then, he looked back, and cocked his head. "There's something different about you...Can't quite put my paw on it." He murmured, then glanced back at the clouds. Tonight would be interesting.

"yeah, yeah, well you're the same as ever!" She beat the ground with a paw, before the evily pleasing thought of a lightening bolt hitting the limb wraith happened to be on passed through her mind, and she took on a falsely innocent look.
"So what are you up to?" She said in a tone that was too innocent to be anything but sinister.

"....I'm sitting. On a branch." Wraith decided to go with the obvious answer. He didn't quite get why this creature didn't just go on it's way, like any normal animal would. Maybe she was a bit...slow in the head? He didn't know for sure, but he had an odd feeling about her. "You'd better have cover tonight, Glow."

"Well naw-durr! I can see that!" She said, giving him a nasty look.
"and why do you care weather or not I'll 'have cover' tonight, hmn? Yeah, answer that one!" She stuck her tongue out at him. Something about this kitsu just inferiated her! made her fur stand on end and tails twitch with agitation. Annoying. That was it. He was just annoying! Yes, very anoying!

"I don't care, really. It was just a helpful warning, really. You do know that with the buildup we're getting in those clouds over there-" He nodded westward..."We're most likely gonna get at least a foot of rain over the course of ooh, I'd say...Three hours? And this ground is dryer than my sense of humor, so I'd say there'll be a nice flood soon." Wraith lowered his head to his paws, and closed one eye. He thought over what he had just said. He wasn't really used to giving lectures...It had felt...Oddly satisfying.

"rather a small swim than get struck by lightening cause I'm sleeping in atree!" She replied, completely forgetting that she couldn't swim. That didn't matter though! For the sake of arguement, she'd say she could swim. Wasn't like he knew one way or the other!

"You've obviously never seen a flash flood..." Wraith said, grinning, the action raising his muzzle a few inches into the air.
"You have noticed that this is a relatively short tree, and there are many larger ones in every direction for miles? The chance of me getting struck is a lot lower than you drowning..." He trailed off.

"Where are you going?" He asked lazily. "I assume you've eaten today, right? Because if the storm is as bad as it is looking to be, you might not be able to find food for days....Yess...." Wraith drawled on, his eye on movement in a bush, a dozen yards from his tree. It seemed his dinner was coming to him.

"these big ears, aren't listening!" She said, nose in the hair, little legs hihg-stepping as she began to strut down the path.
Things always worked out for her, this storm would be no exception!
