((This RP is situated beside a long and slow-running river. Cold water trickles over small rocks, causing a nice mellow song to echo throughout the woods. If you travel downstream, there's a small waterfall pouring down the edge of a moss-covered cliff. Eventually, one would reach the edge of the forest in a matter of minutes. Whoamg, it's not the generic sunny meadow. O_o;

Nova carefully padded her way across the river, using the wet stones that was strewn about as places to land her feet on. She thought of this as a game, seeing how many times she could cross the stream without falling it.

Resting on firm land, she turned around and crossed the brook again. And again. Each time she made her way across, Nova tried to go through a different path than the last.

Nova whirled around so fast that she almost lost her balance. Straightening herself while on a small rocked, she looked around for the source of the voice and found a blue and purple kit.

"Hello there Airi!" She skipped off the stone she was perched on and onto another. "It takes practice to cross this river without falling, but it's fun whether you cross it in one piece or not! Watch this!"

Nova concentrated on the rock in front of her and leaped. Her front legs touched the smooth surface, and her back legs pushed off of the rock behind her. In a fluid jump-run motion, she reached the other side in a matter of seconds.

"So many times that my fur would be soaked for hours! I even fell into the river a while before you got here! I may be good, but I'm not perfect." Nova replied cheerfully, while trying not to laugh at Airi's dripping hair. No one ridiculed her wet pelt when she took a dunk in the river, so she shouldn't do that to the kit. Though Nova kept this hobby a secret from even her friends.

"How did you find me anyway? This place is pretty well hidden, and I haven't met anyone here before."

Nova glanced in the direction that Airi pointed at, wondering how she could sleep there. Didn't she had parents to worry on her?

"Name's Nova! And if you were going to ask on how to cross the river more effectively, then sure! But the main thing is about practice, you know?"

She walked up to the edge of the stream and danced over the rocks gracefully. She was so caught up in acting professionally that her foot missed a step and Nova stumbled, splashing into the river.

"Good job!" Nova cheered. "You're a fast learner aren't you?"

Standing up and walking the rest of the way to the nearest bank, she shook the river water out of her fur. The droplets that refused to be shaken out chilled her skin like ice.

"Do you wanna have a race? I'll go easy on you! I promise!"

Nova laughed at jumped at the nearest rock, her paws slipping but held on. Without giving a moment's thought, she jumped at the next one, determined not to let a little kid beat her.

"Aha! You don't stand a chance!" She stuck her tongue out at her gleefully.

"Orly?" Nova shouted as she nearly landed on the little kit. "You don't get good all the sudden through a few minutes of practice!"

She continued jumping in a fluid motion, nearing the other side of the river. Though a last-second mistake on stepping near the edge of a rock caused her to slip and tumble. Her forelegs landed on the ground but the rest of Nova's body splashed into the water.

"That was because I tripped... I meant to trip to let you win?" Nova said, trying to regain her lost dignity. She must have gotten cocky and made a foolish mistake.

Scrambling onto the land, she shook her fur dry for the second time today.

"Hey Airi, you want to see something cool?"
