The salon is lavishly decorated with silk bows hanging from the banister crowned with beautiful autumn flowers. The tables have been moved to the sides of the room. Each is covered in pure white table cloths, and set for four. In the center of each table are rich flowers and fruits.
Part of the balcony is roped off for the orchestrated band. In the fountain fresh blossoms dance in the water. The drapes around the room have been replaced with exquisite golden drapes with green and orange cording.

  Shizuko and Etsuko had stopped the caterers before they even got to the school and replaced all the food with their creations they'd spent all day preparing, now they watched as the salon's dessert trays were filled with delectable sweets. "Looks like everything is going to be alright here," Etsuko said."Mmhmm," Shizuko replied, "We should find a spot to sit while we wait for Don and Jon to arrive, did you send them a message?""Not yet, I'll get right to it!" Etsuko sighed as the girls sat down.
-Don, we got here early, your prince had sub par sweets so we fixed them for you. There is even some white chocolate now, just for you! Let me know when you two get here, we are in the salon <3 Etsuko-

 Minowa had quickly gotten dressed and combed back his hair after meeting with Arai. Afterwards he headed to the newly decorated Salon; he pushed open the doors. " Every year they dress it up like a palace...well, at least it never a repeat. " He murmered as he scanned the room. He took out his note pad and jotted down some descriptions of the room. Then he looked around. He saw two finely dress ladies. He walked up to them, "Hello, Ladies!" He said cutely. " Are you two here for the Host Club Ball? " He asked.

 Taka came in to the salon. Why am I here? I don't even have a date.
She walked over to one of the tables and sat down with her head in her hand. "I only have to be here for a couple hours. I just hope this goes by quickly." She mumbled to herself, "I don't even know anyone yet."

Minowa's sight crossed the room and spotted Taka, he twitched and quickly reverted them back to the girls he was addressing. Taka was OMEGA'S news editor. And like his parents, Taka had the background of the news world too. She was always quiet and her red eyes were piercing and scared Minowa. Even though she never raised her voice at him, he felt he was obligated to listen and follow her suggestions and orders.

Ralbas "Yup!" Etsuko announced.Shizuko looked at the note pad in Minowa's hand. "You are that news kid, aren't you? We were told to be careful of you." "EHHH????" Minowa tilted his head. "Why? May I ask? I don't come out very often....this Ball is the biggest event I've been told to attend all year so far, since I'm so little I'm not invited to come but every member in the newspaper is....so I'm here to do the job they are suppose to be doing..." He said childishly and innocently. "Anyway...May I ask you a few questions? Like, what are you two expecting to happen tonight?"

"Well," Etsuko began but stopped when she got a look from Shizuko.
"We are expecting to enjoy ourselves," Shizuko took over.

Minowa nodded and jotted down some short hand words. "Ok, urm...." he flipped through some pages and asked. " What do you think of each of the Host Club Members? " he recited of the small page.

"Other than Jon and Don we don't really know any of them," Etsuko blurted.
"We are in ninth grade, so we don't know that many of the High school people yet," Shizuko added, "I doubt anything we are going to tell you will be of any interest to the newspaper."

Arai stumbled through the door of the salon, being dragged by Keiko.
"Doesn't look like there are many people here yet," Arai said looking around, "Not even your brother is here, Keiko, so what do you want to do?"

Minowa looked at them, then dropped his pen. "Whoops...clumsy....sorry." He strained as he bent down to chase after his rolling pen. "Gotcha!" He said cheerfully when he snapped back up.
"Oh! I thought you were in the Highschool end! Haha silly me. You two just look so mature and elegant in those dresses I thought you were older. Sorry. Let me....ah..." he flipped through his note pad. "Ask you some questions... that...are...for...the...middle school end...ah...here we are!" He smiled. "And don't worry too much. Its just a formality to ask the general questions, it's for the general poll that we use when we make up the popularity chart. It's been up for years, its just simple tradition. I think its silly but they always give the job to the little guy....and that would be me. heh." He gave them a cute smile.
"Ok! Since most of the clients of the Host Club are from the High school end, how do you view these clients? Do you think they should be spending their time more productivly?" Minowa recited.

Keiko smiled at Arai. "Well how about we sit and wait for the Host's welcome." She held on to his arm tighter. "After the welcome the dancing picks up. Or at least that's what my brother said."
Taka got up and walked over to Minowa, "Don't bug the Middle Schoolers too much Minowa. What we want is anything on the Host Club and it's members. Get your information then move on quickly to the High Schoolers."
Taka walked away towards the foyer. She brushed Keiko as she passed.
"Hey watch it! Who do you think you are?" Keiko objected, "There's plenty of room to walk around us."
"I'm Saito, Taka." Taka replied to Keiko's question in a literal sense. "Why should I go around you two when you are right in the walkway between tables to leave this room."
"Saito huh? Fine whatever." Keiko turned back to the rest of the room.

The girls sat shocked at the high schooler reprimanding the elementary kid.
"We don't care what other people do, its their lives," The twins said in harmony, "Let them do as they please, so long as it doesn't effect us."
