Okay seeing that the new beta system looks great and will be a great improvement. I find the new tax idea to be uneeded. Though the math and systematic process for its cause is clear and understandable. The market place was made for gaians to make a profit, which we are encuraged to do. What are your thoughts and feelings?

They are hurting the economy because all that will happen now is that people will raise their prices 2% to cover the cost of the tax.

Hmm well I will get back my 1k and im almost to my gold but other than that....i can see a lot of Noobs gettining inflation happy...not goood.

I've been thinking, and although I know this idea is rather impractical...
That the new tax should be put toward some sort of Gaia daily lotto. That way the money is put back to the people. Every account can only buy one ticket (of let's say something small like, 10g) and the taxes collected from the MP as well as the ticket prices, go towards a massive Gaia lotto.
I doubt anyone agrees with me though.

I understand the logic, but it still sucks. blaugh
Actually, it doesn't bother me half as much on a Kiki or something expensive as it does on all the 5-25g items I sell.
So if we sell an item for 1 or 2 gold, are they rounding up or down? o.0 Because I assume it's coming out in whole-gold increments.
Oh, also, they call it a "listing fee," not a "commission," so are we getting charged whether or not the item sells? Or just from the proceeds?

I hate the whole new mp,iwent as far as to pm lanzer,it sucks and you cant find shiz D< i hate it hate it hate it And as for the listing fee......BISH PLEASE! I MEAN FFS LOOK AT IT THIS BLOODY WAY  ok,this will HELP CAUSE inflation not help STOP it,people will want to sell things for higher because they will bloody well be loosing gold and will charge more to make up for what they are loosing....quite frankly if this goes ahead i shall perma move to the exchange -nods-

As I said before in the other thread... PikaChelle I think this tax is crraaappp. I'm going to just chill on vending for awhile and wait and see what happens. *Rolls Eyes*
