So, I'm watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding and one of the characters reeeaaaallllyyyy reminds me of Richard, more in the face than anything, but still. (And he's even a teacher!)
So I was curious. Any actors that would be absolutely perfect if a movie adaptation was ever made?

For Richard, I see Jared Padalecki. He might be a little young, not sure, but he has experience playing a role dealing with the supernatural.  Personally I'd perfer Johnny Depp to play Jean-Claude but I think he might be too old now, so I say Kyle Schmid, who plays the vampire Henry on Blood Ties. For Anita, I'd say Annabella Sciorra:

I always see Davey from AFI as Jean-Claude, except he'd have to be less muscled. Or Victor or Grace from Dope Stars Inc, but with curly hair. Davey:  Victor:  Grace:  And Claudia Black has always been perfect for the role of Anita.  The two people I can never relate to anyone is Nathaniel and Jason.

I like John Corbett for Richard.. Have done since I saw him in Sex and the City. Shut up. lol
Ziva in NCIS, Cote De Pablo in real life, is Anita to me.. although I don't know if that's her real accent or if it's put on since that's all I've ever seen her in.
Or that chicky from Third Watch, Tia Texada.
Edward Norton for Edward.
Jean Claude... I've not seen an actor for him yet. Briefly considered Brian Molko (singer from Placebo) but he ain't an actor. lol
Saw a Jason the other day on TV but I forget who it was.

I agree with John Corbett as Richard. He's the first person that popped into my head the first time he was introduced. As for Jean-Claude, that's a hard one. Definately NO Stuart Townsend. Just no. He's too full of himself in a bad way, can't act, and doesn't fit the physical description at all. I've considered a young Brad Pitt for Nathaniel. Don't believe me? Go back and watch Thelma and Louise. So hot. And he can definately do the whole lost child, there's more to me than you can see attitude and look. Just watch Meet Joe Black. Edward Norton as Edward... perfect.

Apparently Laurell has been writing a script and is about half way finished. That means that all we need to wait for is a company to snatch it after she's done with it.

I always thought that Janeane Garofalo would make a brillant Anita. However, I think she might be a little too old now.

I can't remember the actress' name, but Jordan from Crossing Jordan. Yeah, she's a bit too old, but in ways she reminds me of Anita.

I never would have said Jolie for Anita but the picture in this particular story just screamed Anita... Hope it works. Edit: Oh, and Deppfan, Jill Hennessey.
