TTF's SoA Plotting Thread
I'm fairly new to the SoA scene, despite having owned my cheetah girl, Tahnia, for a very long time. I've been desperately itching to get her into some roleplay for a while now, but the thread is too hectic for me to really keep up with, so I thought I'd try making a thread here.

Meaning: There is no direct meaning for the name Tahnia; it's derived from the name Tahlia, meaning "morning dew".

Personality:
Having grown up on her own, Tahnia has become a girl both strong of body and in mind. She's very independant and has learned to take care of herself well. She's not one to readily accept help unless she desperately needs it, and even then her self-confidence and "I can take care of it myself!" sort of attitude gets in her way. Despite this, she has very cublike tendencies, and finds herself most often amused by chasing butterflies and grasshoppers around for fun. She's lived by herself her whole life, yearning for companionship but shying away for fear of being rejected. However, as she's matured, she's realized that she is not only bored all by herself but also quite lonely, and wishes for someone to spend her time with. Because of her cubhood she has abandonment issues, and tends to get clingy and attatched to things easily; she fears that if she doesn't, they'll leave her as her parents once did. At the same time, she has a great fear that she will never be accepted by anyone. After all, even her family didn't want her... right?
History:
Tahnia does not remember her parents at all. In her mind, she was unwanted by her mother and father, and she assumes they dumped her off in some random location and left her to fend for herself. For this she resents her parents, although she never knew them. In actuality, her mother was a lioness and her father a cheetah, and both were very loving parents. Lachlan, her father, was a shy male in a large coalition. He was the youngest of his four siblings and had been born with an illness. This illness brought great shame to his proud coalition and he left once he came of age, feeling he did not belong there. Tahnia's mother, Aelwen, was a prideless elderly lion who was on her own. They two met on one of Aelwen's journeys, and, being a nurturing soul, she took pity on the young cheetah. She grew to love him like a son, though that relationship blossomed into a more romantic one. They had a litter of two, a boy and a girl. The male cub did not survive more than a week, and unfortunately, neither did Aelwen: in her old age she passed away, but her dying wish to Lachlan was that, knewing he could not care for a cub on his own, to leave her someplace he knew she would be safe from harm. To this Lachlan agreed, and after Aelwen's death he headed towards the Pridelands. There on the edge of the Pridelanders' territory he left his little girl. Two weeks after Tahnia's birth, stricken with grief and despair, Lachlan too passed away. Thus the small girl was left on her own, and from afar she was content watching the lions of the Prideland play and frolic, and grow into great hunters and warriors. She herself, though lonely and afraid, knew that she was not a lion [though she knew not what she was] and felt she was not adequate enough to approach them. Just as she thought she had been rejected by her parents, she feared that she would not be accepted by these lions. Observing the lions taught her to do things such as hunt and kill, and as she grew older she no longer needed their far-off guidance. Once she hit adolescence she became confident enough to stray from her border-land home and began to wander the plains in search of answers: who was she, and where did she belong?

What I'm Looking For
Friends
More than anything, Tahnia needs companionship. She needs someone she can put her trust in and confide in, although getting her to open up to such a point would take time. She wants someone who can be there for her, and at the same time make her feel welcome and accepted; in a sense, she wants the family she never had.
Enemies
While I feel enemies are just as important as friends, I don't think Tahnia really needs any at this point in her life. Right now she is too shattered as is, and having someone to put her down would simply make her more lonely and depressed.
Coalition
Tahnia wants somewhere she belongs, but at the same time, she still wants to be independant. A coalition would be good for her, but if it's too restricting, it may not appeal to her. Her entire life was spent wandering, and that's where she feels most comfortable: she might not enjoy the idea of having to stay in one place for the rest of her life.
Mate & Children
Tahnia would love to have a family, but it would take finding a very trustworthy male first. The last thing she wants is to have a litter and then never see the father again. She's actually very fond of cubs and enjoys watching them play when she can get a glimpse of some, and she would make a very good, dedicated mother to them. She doesn't ever want to leave her cubs the way her parents abandoned her. Her independant nature would make her a very take-charge mom who would likely be handling everything the babies would need, from food to babysitting to protection and everything in-between.
Plots
I would really love for Tahnia to be involved in a plot. As of now I'm really open to any ideas that might fit her, personality-wise.

Personality: Nsundu's quite the character. Her mother was the Savannah's self-proclaimed "coolest quadruped", and some of her Savannah 'savoir-faire' has been passed on to her daughter. Notorious for being able to smooth-talk her way out of troublesome situations, Nsundu learned how to manipulate words to her advantage. She is surprisingly persuasive, especially when it comes to getting other people to do her dirty work so she can reap the benefits. Food is the best example. Nsundu's hunting skills are decent – she does have to survive – however she enjoys nothing better than having someone else do the work for her. Less energy expended and more food for her. What's a better deal than that? Her mother praised this ability, and as a result Nsundu feels no guilt for her actions. Any gullible character is fair game, in her opinion, and if they are so easily convinced then they deserve to lose their meal. Nsundu has nothing against stealing, cheating, or anything else that brings benefit to the owner. If she gets outfoxed by another lion, then she let her guard down and deserved it just as much as her victims. It's a double-edged sword that Nsundu has come to accept. After all, this is the African Savannah, and if anyone understands the deceitful environment it's Nsundu.
The young lioness learned by example in more ways than just cheating naïve cubs out of their food. Just like her mother she's quick-witted, cheeky, and very self-centred, rarely willing to do something for someone unless there's something in it for her. If there's no reward then don't count on her help. Unless, of course, you fight to regain what is rightfully yours. It's a strange sort of honour code that Nsundu abides by. On one hand, she wouldn't think twice about stealing from the unwary, but at the same time she believes that you should get what's rightfully yours (by work or gift). If you're the next in line whether it be for the throne or a position of power then nobody is allowed to bud in front of you. The cool will always outsmart the uncool, and the deserving should get what's coming for them. There has to be a certain amount of order, otherwise everything would just fall apart. "Natural justice", as Nsundu calls it, doesn't exempt anyone.
Just as she believes in "natural justice", so Nsundu believes in the need to find your own "rhythm" or uniqueness. In order to do so you must learn about another's rhythm, learning their ways and how they perceive the world. Once you get a feel for their rhythm you can begin to modify it to suit your own character. Each person you meet will alter your rhythm until eventually you walk to a beat that's all your own.

He's an albino, so he's always felt quite weak his whole life, as if he's constantly in need of a good night's sleep. His parents and his 3 siblings all have spots, which made him feel quite paranoid as a cub. As he's gotten older, his paranoia has subsided slightly, but he's still extremely cautious of others. Pride/Pack/Coalition/etc: - What you're applying for: Just friends, for sure. XP; Taka is too much of a wuss to have a mate at the moment. Anything else? -
