Who: Ayako, Saix, Remus, hopefully Nari, maybe Hemi (ask Mel if other siblings want to come in), siblings welcome
What: an important announcement
Where: either Trel's house in Bass'ken Woods or Relm HQ (forgot to ask Mel for preference)
When: Just after Ayako tells Saix she is preggers (here), before Vynn gets pregnant, clearly before Remus knows about either & before he meets with Noko & Xigbar to learn about Orgy13; After Ginny's kits are born, after Liliana & Edward stop by to see said kits & while Liliana is still out on her adventure.
Why: To tell Ayako's parents she's expecting... and with Saix's young. Sighing, Remus John Lupin closed his eyes and looked away from the book he was reading. A paw lightly marked his place as his tails swished behind him. He knew he should not worry so. Liliana would not like it. And there were his other kits to think about...
That made him worry all the more. They were good kitsu. The wizard was so very proud of them all. Surely he could not keep them from the trials and tribulations of the world but he hoped he had done well by them that they would persevere without their mother & his presence.
He could only hope they had done the right things, and that should his kits need him they would not hesitate to search him out.

The Portkey transported them to the library, where Ayako spent most of her time in, whether awake or asleep. As they appeared, the kitsu pulled her paw away from the rollerblades and glanced around the library. "I wonder where Dad and Mom is..."
(Other siblings can pop in if they want to. ninja And it would be Trel's house. )

Saix instantly pulled his paw away from the pair of rollerblades the moment they arrived. Silently, he glanced around, a grimace forming on his maw. Ugh, if he had gone out as he planned that day, this wouldn't have happened, and he wouldn't have had to come here...
His gaze flickered about, falling on the many books in the room. Ah, a library, it seemed. They had one in their own home, but he didn't spend much time in it to be honest. He didn't bother to look at Ayako as he answered, "Hhn. Suppose we should find them then," Silently, he added with a sigh, 'If we must.' It was obviously something that had to be done, despite how much Saix and Ayako didn't want to do it.
Saix was rather grateful they had been transported to a library. It was rather nice and quiet in here. He seemed rather calm about the fact they were there to announce that he had accidentally gotten Ayako pregnant, thanks to the tiny brain of Kitsumi. Maybe he really was used to Kitsumi's slip ups by now. Of course, none of them had ever been this serious.

Closing the book with a sigh Remus tucked it into his robes and headed to the magic door. He had been spending less time in his own library since his oldest daughter had left with her teen-mate. He glanced at Hemi, playing almost kit-like with his 'cousin' Doron & the kits of the household. Even the young kyunru, Niahm played with careful grace, her peacock fae mother watching on. There sure were many of them right now. And there would be more, if Keyna & Ginny's suspicions about Miaka were any indication.
Giving a nod to Ginny to let her know where he was headed, Remus entered the library.
And blinked. There were two kitsu inside. His daughter, Ayako, of course was no surprise and his eyes smiled, tails wagging to see her. It was this other with her that surprised him. There was a painting by Relm Audio he had seen once with audios in similar outfit to the one this long haired stranger wore. He was reminded a bit of his nephews and nieces, Noko's kits with her mate Xigbar who he had yet to meet, the male unfortunately having been unable to attend the family dinner they attempted to hold months ago.
"Ayako..." Remus spoke warmly, moving forward to nuzzle her fatherly. "Always a delight to see you daughter. And who is your friend?" Dark eyes looked to the other male, casually sizing him up as any father is apt to do when it comes to his daughters. Still his soft smile was warm and welcoming.

The door opened and Ayako looked up and her eyes caught a familiar figure. Father. Her heart started to palpitate nervously. How was she to tell him? How would he react? Would he be displeased? Or happy, that he was to be a grandfather? Moreover, she was one of the youngest, yet she was the one to have kits first.
Oh god, oh god. The turmoil inside her didn't show on her calm exterior however. In some ways, she was like Saix, able to look calm even though her nerves were frazzled. When she was in her normal mood, not on an emotional rollercoaster, that is.
"Father." The kitsusagi replied with a nuzzle. "This...is Saix." She wondered how much he knew about Saix's kind; not having a heart, yet living. But he must though, since the thing with Uncle Xigbar and all...

After the shock of what had happened wore off, Saix was rather relaxed. When Remus entered, the male turned slowly to look over the other Kitsusagi. Hhn, this was Ayako's father, was it? His eyes flickered over him for a moment, before he gave the briefest nod in greeting. He seemed like a rather warm and friendly Kitsusagi, though honestly, Saix didn't think he'd take the news of his daughter's accidental pregnancy well.
As he was introduced, Saix gave another small nod, still silently peering at Remus with golden eyes. He had never thought he'd be in a situation like this, to say the least.
"Ayako's father, are you?" He asked, his voice unintentionally coming out a little flat, and stiffly. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Hey, he -could- be kind of polite when it wanted to. Granted the fact that the words felt foreign on his tounge, hence the stiffness in his words. Usually, he would have preferred to just keep quiet, but he wanted to get this over with.

Unfortunately or fortunately the wizard's knowledge on what was known to some as Organization 13 was non-existent save for that one lone painting caught haphazardly in his sight. His mate's sister was happy with her mate, and that was enough for Remus not to delve into Noko's mate's background. It was not as if he had met Xigbar for information to have casually crossed paws. But his ear quirked at this one's name, thinking he remembered it once in passing before. Not of a kitsu... perhaps from his audio 'brother' Aiden.
"Yes, I am her father." Dark eyes flicked to his daughter with pride before returning to their guest. "It is always a pleasure to meet the friends of my children, Saix. I do hope I am not interrupting anything. Perhaps I could get you some tea and biscuits?" He smiled at Ayako. "Ginny made some fresh not too long ago."

Ayako's gaze flickered to Saix in astonishment. She had never seen him so polite before, but she did detect the flatness in his tone. Perhaps it was because he had never forced himself to be so polite before.
"Um...dad, we need to tell you something." No sense of being distracted by biscuits, especially when they were made by Ginny. "Have you seen Mom around?"

"You aren't interupting at all. On the contrary, we arrived in hopes of finding you, and Ayako's mother." He gave a single nod as Ayako spoke, before studying Lupin again. He really did seem like a kind Kitsusagi. Perhaps he should sit down when the told him - Saix wasn't really sure how he could take it. At the moment, it seemed he had no knowledge of what they were going to say.
And once they said it, they'd have to explain in full detail, including -how- Ayako got pregnant in the first place. Saix, to say the least, was not looking forward to any of this. Mentally, he was still furious at himself for not noticing the wine.
Clearing his throat, the male glanced at Lupin with a frown. "There's been an 'incident', of sorts."

((With Mau's hand hurt, she won't be officially joining the RP. Mau said before for the 'Wolves' RP that I could kinda drag her kitsu involved in as long as they're not ooc. So I'm going to try that here. 'Cause it would be more ooc for Nari to not be there. *hugs*))
"You mother? Incident?" All trace of host melted, leaving concerned father. He pulled out his wand. "One moment."
There was a soft pop as Remus Lupin disapparated. Perhaps five minutes later he returned, the beautiful Nari half wrapped in paw and robes. She left her mate to go to her daughter, embracing her. Remus looked between Ayako and Saix. "Now... this incident..."
There was an edge to his usually gentle voice. The father's thoughts worried for the safety and well being of his loved ones. And where did Saix fit into the picture?
Nari stepped back, nuzzled her mate and got him to sit beside her before calmly indicating that she too wished to know. Though there was a more knowing look about her, her eyes straying more to her daughter.

Ayako fiddled nervously. She could feel the change in her father's emotions as Saix mentioned the "incident". The kitsu watched her father disapparate, and apparate back again with her mother. Ayako's spirits was somehow lifted at the sight of Nari, though her feelings were still in inner turmoil. She returned the hug, and turquoise eyes flickered between both of her parents.
"Well, it's like this." Ayako took in a deep breath and glanced at Saix. "I'm...pregnant."

Seeing the concern that now was on the other male's face, Saix mentally sighed. Then, his gaze unwavering, he watched as Lupin disapparated, and then apparated back with a female Kitsusagi, whom Saix assumed to be Ayako's mother.
Giving a single nod as Lupin spoke, he glanced at Ayako as she glanced at him. When Ayako spoke, he looked back at her parents, before adding, in his still naturally flat voice, "However, it was more unintentional then anything. We weren't in our right minds." Or, to be more specific, they hadn't been sober.

"Pregnant?" It was a good thing Nari had made him sit down. The wizard looked stunned beyond belief. But... banded tails wagged a little and an odd smile touched his face...
All in that moment between when one spoke and the next. Confusion darkened his visage, the happy wag altered to a worried flick. His dark eyes narrowed. Nari's eyes were an odd happy-sad as they looked upon her daughter. "Unintentional I suppose I can fathom but 'not being in your right minds'?" Remus looked anxiously from one to the other, seemingly at a loss for words. "Surely you're not saying you don't want them, are you?"
Oh dear. Contractions. Not a good sign. Remus was clearly troubled.

What a nice word to use.
Ayako flicked her tails nervously as she watched her parents' expression. This was what she was afraid of. Not saying that she was pregnant but why. Immediately, her eyebrows shot up as her father mentioned that they didn't want them. Maybe Saix but...
"I'm not saying I don't want them, Dad." She cast a half-angry look at Saix. "I do. It's just that...we never meant for it to happen."

Turning to meet Ayako's set of half-angry eyes, with his set of calm ones, he glanced back at Remus and Nari, with a frown. He -didn't- want anything to do with the kits, to be perfectly honest, but whose to say that anyone would allow him to do something like that? Dump all the kits on Ayako, that is, and never see them again? Edgeworth, being a former prosecutor, certainly wouldn't see any right in that, and would probably bother him to visit his kits once in a while, or ask Ayako to bring them over.
He nodded slowly at what the female Kitsusagi was saying. "It's not that." He agreed, with a frown. Either way, he had to take some part in watching over the kids, he supposed, "But as Ayako said, it's more of we didn't mean it to happen in the first place." Then, he paused, "It's a rather long story, but if you're up for hearing about it..."
