Ayako was pissed.
It wasn't often when she was such in a bad mood, or rather not at all. The kitsu preferred to be calm and take things in her stride. But this?
How could you take a thing such as pregnancy calmly? HOW? "I should have never stayed over at Kitsumi's house." She muttered angrily. It was a wrong move; look where it ended her up in? Her stomach was bulging, she was riding on an emotional rollercoaster...
Gawd.
She needed to settle this. And so, the kitsu Apparated to the front step of the house. Where it all happened. Ayako took a few deep breaths and knocked on the door, preparing to storm in as it opened. Or if it didn't, she could blast it off the hinges. Whatever that worked.

Saix rubbed at his temples irritably as the sound of rollerblades on hardwood floor pounded in his ears. Where in the world Kitsumi had gotten such things was beyond him, but he didn't care where the hell they came from - he just wanted them gone.

Of course, Kitsumi would never agree. She was having too much fun gliding around the house, oblivious to the headache she was giving her poor housemate. "Just another half an hour or so..." Saix growled, grounding his teeth together. Another half an hour, that is, until Edgeworth returned and Saix could be relieved of his babysitting duties for the time being. Perhaps he could get Edgeworth to distract Kitsumi, and while the other Kitsusagi was doing so, he could steal Kitsumi's new toys and destroy them...
Saix would have mentally gone into detail with his plan, if not for the knocking on the door. Surprised, he looked towards it with a frown. "Back already?" He muttered, assuming it was Edgeworth. Behind him, Kitsumi called, "Saaaix-y! Get that, please? I would, but I don't know how to sto - " She was cut off by a loud crash, followed by a, 'I'm okay, I'm okay!'
Grumbling, Saix started towards the door with relief. It'd be nice to escape from Kitsumi for a while. When he opened the door however, his relief disappeared, and he merely frowned darkly at the vistor, ears flat with irritation. "What are you here for? Visiting your friend, that loud rollerblading menace over there?" Right on cue, Kitsumi whizzed by the door, before letting out a yelp, and then there was another crash.
Closing his eyes, Saix ground his teeth, looking like it was about to snap. Then, letting a calm mask come over his face, he turned his piercing golden eyes on Ayako. "Come back later." He said, flatly, before he started to close the door.

There were a lot of crashes heard from within, which the kitsusagi assumed had come from Kitsumi. It was really quite obvious, she thought, as she paced up and down. What was taking them so long? Wand out, she gritted her teeth and was about to blast the door...
When he opened it.
Usually, if she was in one of her normal moods, she wouldn't know what to say. But Ayako wasn't in her normal mood. She was PREGNANT. And her anger heightened as he told her to go away. As he was about to close the door, she narrowed her eyes angrily. Okay, that was enough.With a small 'pop' she apparated into the house and pointed her wand at the rollerblades which immediately halted, as if the wheels were stuck.
"Look here." She snarled, turning to glare at Saix. "I've got something to say and I'm not leaving until I say this." And you'd better accept it. OR ELSE. She thought furiously.
...Let's just say there were many things a pregnant angry kitsu could do with a wand.

Saix began to shut the door, but frowned and turned to glance over his shoulder as a pop sounded. Looking over Ayako with a dark snarl, he closed the door, before turning to face her. Though he was rather glad she had stopped Kitsumi’s rollerblading, he was still irritated that the other Kitsusagi had appeared into their home so suddenly.
He snorted, seeming unsurprised at Ayako’s change of personality from her usual self. Females seemed to have mood swings – he would know, he had been around Larxene before – and he had gotten used to them. Kitsumi, on the other hand, glanced at Ayako with a frown, ears pinned back. Why was her friend so mad?
“Well then,” Saix growled, “Speak if you must. I won’t be listening, but if you’ll leave right after you speak…” He paused, before snorting again. Even as he insulted her, he watched her wand from the corner of his eye, cautiously. He had seen her use that once before. He didn’t want to be the next one to be hit by a spell. Though he looked rather relaxed, sitting casually on the hardwood floor, he was ready to dodge out of the way if the wand were pointed at him.
Behind them, ears flat, Kitsumi wriggled out of her rollerblades, taking two hesitant steps towards them. “Ayako? What’s wrong?” She whimpered, seeming to have been rather startled by her usually gentle friend’s change in personality. “Saix-y, I think we really should hear her out…?”
“Then you do the listening. I don’t see what anything she says would do with me.” He turned his gaze onto Ayako, glaring with golden fierceness, before looking away.

Stupid. Damn. Hormones.
Ayako was a little displeased with herself for entering without greeting; I mean, how impolite was that? But she didn't really care about that anymore. She was angry. And when Ayako got angry, she was mad. Very. It was not a good idea to cross her.
Another glare was shot at Saix at his comments, ready to Stun him if need be. This wasn't a laughing matter. Tense shoulders relaxed slightly as she noticed Kitsumi's fear.
"Of course this has to do with you." She spoke again, tone laced with sarcasm . It wasn't as if Kitsumi was the one who made her pregnant. Boys.

Saix met Ayako's glaring eyes, with his own pair. Though his body seemed relaxed enough, his eyes were sharp and cold, and very much irritated when the other Kitsusagi spoke.
"And why exactly does it have anything to do with me? I don't socialize with Kitsumi's little friends." He snorted. The male would have turned and left right at that moment, if he didn't feel a sudden weight collapse on his back. Resisting the urge to throw her off, Saix instead shot Kitsumi a look. "Get off me." He growled, lowering closer to the ground and trying to shake her off.
"But...but Saix-y!" Kitsumi protested, clinging to his back like a monkey. "If Ayako has taken her time to come here and speak to you, it must be important, right?" She clung to his cloak as he continued to try shaking her off. "She said she won't leave until shes says what she wants to say, so if you're so eager for my friend to leave, you might as well listen to her first, right?" Kitsumi paused to look at Ayako questioningly, as if asking if what she was saying was what Ayako wanted.
Eyeing Kitsumi, and then Ayako, Saix returned the calm mask back onto his face, his irritation hidden, but most obviously still there. Finally, he shook his head.
"Out with it then."

"Oh."Ayako gave a derisive snort, meeting his eyes with her own ones. She could be tough if she wanted to and this was the time.
A small smile was given to Kitsumi for bugging Saix to listen to her. She appreciated it; after all, he had to know this. He wasn't going to live in delirium forever. "So you're saying..." She trailed off, pinning him with turquoise eyes.
"That Kitsumi is the one who got me pregnant? Not likely."

"Pregnant?!" Kitsumi and Saix said in unison, Kitsumi's loud and surprised, while Saix's had a hint of confusion, shock, and fury. "Most obviously Kitsumi did no such thing, but are you implying -I- got you pregnant?" He growled, standing up abruptly, Kitsumi sliding from his back. "Don't be ridiculous, girl! I have no feeling for you, nor would I ever have done such a thing!" Saix's words made Kitsumi wince. They were rather sharp, and cold.
"I would never in my sane mind even touch you, nevermind..." He trailed off, disgusted. "And besides, I have no recollection of suchs things!"
One thing he wouldn't admit though, was there was a blank in his memory from a few days ago, when Ayako had stayed over. He didn't know why it was a blur there, but it couldn't possibly have been because...?
Ugh.

Ayako gritted her teeth angrily. Well, it wasn't as though she hadn't expected this. "You think," She paused to take in a breath to calm herself. "You think I WANTED this to happen? You THINK I want to be PREGNANT, go on irritational mood swings?"
"I'm perfectly aware that you do not have a heart." She snapped, pacing up and down, tails waving agitatedly. "But that doesn't mean..." She trailed off, then shut her mouth, shaking her head.
"Remember the time I stayed over?"

Saix's ears pinned back in annoyance, his mask back on his face. Trying to look emotionless, he didn't bat an eye when she spoke, but he too had been gritting his teeth. When...how...-why-!?
Watched her pace, he rose a brow as she trailed off. "Doesn't mean what?" He demanded, with a frown. "If this has anything to do with this, you might as well say whatever you have to say. I'm being honest when I say I no nothing about this." He snorted.
Ignoring the fact Kitsumi had seated herself between the two, to the side, his frown deepened and his brows came together in an audible click. "Go on?"

The main reason why Ayako was furious was that she didn't know how she was to explain to her parents. If it was a good mate, fine. But Saix...he... Great, just great.
"Well...I remember blacking out. And I think you were acting rather...drunk too. Kitsumi, do you remember anything?" She turned to the other kitsusagi.

Grounding his teeth together, Saix closed his eyes, trying to see if he could recall anything. The most he could remember however, was Ayako coming, and getting dragged by Kitsumi to join them for tea...
...Wait a minute.
"I seemed drunk?" The Kitsusagi repeated, raising both brows. "To my knowledge, I hadn't consumed anything alcholic..." He trailed off, looking at Kitsumi as Ayako addressed her.
"Er, well," The female Kitsu looked thoughtful, rubbing her head with a paw. "I recall making you guys some red tea, but I didn't have any, because I didn't like red tea. So I went off to make some green tea for myself. I went back to ask you guys if you wanted anything else, but you were both acting kind of...weird. You both couldn't really stand up straight, and were saying silly things..." She shrugged, thoughfully. "But I left to finish making my tea. Took me a long time though, 'cause I couldn't find cups or anything. When I came back, you guys were both sleeping."
"I dragged Saix to his room, and the nudged you awake." She nodded, sure Akayo knew what happened beyond that point.
After a moment of silence, it finally hit Kitsumi.
Oh god, this was somehow her fault, wasn't it? As if the glare Saix was giving wasn't enough.

Waittaminute.
The tea was alcohol.
Kitsumi thought wine(as Ayako supposed) was red tea? Although the kitsu could remember slightly what had happened that day, but only bits and pieces. So that was why...it happened. She couldn't really blame Kitsumi, although Ayako was annoyed that she actually mixed up alcohol and tea. The liquids were two different things. Ugh.
The kitsusagi sighed. "I don't know HOW am I to explain to my parents." Plus, she was worried about the fate that befell the kits. Hell, her father was a werewolf, and if she remembered correctly, Kitsumi had mentioned something about Saix gaining his power from the moon or was it himself?
...It was going to be an eventful full moon.

Must...resist...urge...to kill...
Though his mask was still in place, it seemed to be wavering between calm, and murderous. His eyes were closed tightly, and his mouth set into a thin line. He was taking this worse than Ayako, that was for sure. It didn't help ease Kitsumi's thoughts that she was about to die, with the murderous intent that was radiating from Saix either.
Yelping, she slipped away from Saix, and huddled behind Ayako, curling up. "Wah! Don't kill me!" She squeaked, a shaking ball of fur. "I'msorryI'msorry!"
Eyes still closed, Saix took deep breaths in an attempt to calm down, but the fact remained that Ayako was pregnant, and those kids were -his-. At the thought, anger welled up again, but he pushed it back long enough to hear Ayako speak. "Just explain it as it was. It's better than coming up with an excuse for it. Besides, as much as we'd want to, it's not like we can hide it." Even as he spoke, his eyes were shut, as if opening them before he was ready would make him snap.
Which it probably would.

Oh the disadvantages of being an empath.
Though it was an admirable power, observing other's emotions, Ayako could not help but feel sorry for Kitsumi; she could feel the fear positively radiating from the kitsusagi's fur. Which almost made her forgive Kitsumi for the slip-up. Almost. She didn't hate. no, she couldn't hate her for that mistake. But Saix seemed to be.
Although he seemed calm enough, she could feel his apparent anger boiling. He wasn't too happy about this. Neither was she anyway.
"Come with me then." She said. It wasn't as easy as he thought; explaining this to her parents. "Come with me to explain. You're involved in this too."
(If he won't, she'd probably take him along by Side-Along Apparition. xDD;; Either way, he has to go. Then we'll relocate to the Realm, okay? )
